The accommodation pleased us. It is located on the edge of the old town, so the hustle and bustle there can be heard for a while in the evening, but it does not disturb at all. Smaller supermarkets are nearby. Aldi is also easily reachable on foot (about 15 minutes with an incline). The bus to Albufeira train station departs very close by. The view from the balcony of the sea, beach, and old town is simply great, and we enjoyed it every day. The pool with different floor heights has a pleasant size that is also well-suited for swimming. Communication with the landlord is impeccable. We felt very comfortable and missed nothing.

The holiday home is located in the midst of a beautiful garden. The view is wonderful and the surroundings are very quiet. The location is perfect for exploring the island. Although the way to the beautiful town of Mosteiros only takes a few minutes, I recommend a car, as there is no sidewalk on the partially heavily trafficked road. The rooms are spacious, clean, and tastefully furnished. The kitchen has everything you need. Gudrun welcomed us warmly and was always available for questions. Thank you again for your lovely attentions, we felt completely comfortable!

Those who choose one of the colorful holiday homes at Quinta da Arte are looking for peace and the original Algarve, and they also get the best hosts, Johannes and Heidi, included. They provide great tips for activities and restaurants and take care of the booking if needed. In the first week, we had the theater house. We particularly liked the outdoor kitchen there. In the second week, we had to move into the rock house, but that was not bad at all, because the rock house is very cozy and the pond with the frog concert is very relaxing. The family also includes the dog Max and cat Panthi, who also visit regularly. It is also very nice that there is a pool that we enjoyed using. You can also play boules, but we didn't do that. Massages are also possible. It is important to know that you definitely need a car, as the Quinta is about 3 km from the nearest village. However, we found the location to be ideal because many highlights could be reached quickly. We enjoyed going to Tavira in the evenings, as you can stroll wonderfully there and free concerts are also offered in the summer.
Our conclusion: Those who embrace the Portuguese way of life will be rewarded with a wonderful, relaxed holiday "among friends." Those looking for 5-star luxury vacation perfection are rather not in the right place here.
