Quinta das Asas - Stone Castle
São João das Lampas
For those who love absolute tranquility, this is the perfect place. Nestled away in nature, almost unnoticed, is this dreamlike beautiful stone house with a fantastic courtyard. Approximately 700 meters on foot for shopping. No traffic. A 20-minute drive to the beach by the sea. Half an hour to Lisbon, an hour and a half to Nazaré. For us, with our two dogs, it’s an absolute dream. Never (and we travel a lot) have we had anything comparable. The owners are very pleasant and very likable. You can park the vehicle right in front of the property. We enjoyed two wonderful weeks and would have liked to stay longer if we hadn't had to return home due to scheduling. We are determined to come back again, and then for longer.
Many thanks to Stefanie, Paul, and Shani, the daughter.

Tranquil Alentejo Villa with pool
Lourinha
Lovely villa in a very remote location. Great pool. Unfortunately the shower in the en-suite was badly cracked so unable to use it. The remaining over bath shower was difficult for us to use given age and mobility issues. Small shops in Vimieiro but quite a drive for a decent shop. Extremely hot weather 38+ villa was nice and cool, a lot of flys and wasps outside. We had booked for a week but left 2 nights early as hubby was ill and we had concerns about getting back to civilisation, had he got worse as he was the only driver.

Villa in Portugal with Sea View & Pool
Lisboa
This villa exceeded our expectations! The panoramic views from the terrace are stunning, and we spent hours enjoying the sunset. It is conveniently located near beautiful beaches, and the pool area was a relaxing place to rest.
