Pure relaxation

We have stayed in many holiday homes, but we have never seen the cleanliness of the whole house and the outside area. The landlord lives right next door, but he was almost invisible to us. He only checked the water quality of the pool regularly and was always available for any questions. We were welcomed with fresh plums and in the meantime we got vegetables from the home garden. We also enjoyed the homemade cake and the pancakes, which we got from them at some point. It is a house in a very quiet location, with a great view and with very good connections, to all tourist destinations and towns in the area, due to the nearby motorway. There is a small supermarket nearby for essentials, a Lidl is about 15 minutes away in Pazin.
A great holiday to relax and unwind.

Relaxing days in the Fairy House

We rented the fairy house for 2 weeks with 2 retired couples. Alfea looked after us very nicely and prudently from the first enquiry until our departure. As she speaks perfect German, communication was no problem. She and her husband Gabriele provided us with all information about excursion destinations, shopping possibilities and restaurants.

The fairy house was ideal for us as it has 2 separate bedrooms of the same size, each with a bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with everything necessary. It is small, but since the weather was very warm, we spent most of our time on the shady terrace, which is overgrown with blue ivy. There is a dining table with benches and comfortable wicker chairs.

The highlight on warm days was of course the pool, which Gabriele really takes care of.

We really enjoyed the quiet location of the accommodation in a small village, especially when we came back from excursions to the tourist-heavy south and east of Istria. Sure, the Fairy House is a bit secluded, but it is rurally quiet and yet so central that you can reach the beautiful places of Istria within a very manageable time. We can recommend it in good conscience for those who like to stay away from the tourist hustle and bustle and do not want to swim in the sea every day.

Everything top, mosquitoes and wasps flop

Everything was really great, landlord, house perfect. However, the mosquitoes and wasps were absolutely annoying, so you couldn't relax. Eating or grilling outside was not possible because we were practically being eaten alive by the bugs. We couldn't even walk barefoot because the wasps were flying around on the ground and stinging one after the other. Despite everything, it is recommended for people who are not bothered by it. However, something should be done about the beds. They are damn low... However, there was no trace of relaxation, so we left early.
