A beautiful vacation!

We have traveled to Zeeland many times and this time we chose Ouddorp in South Holland. It is a great and cozy house, plus it has a small, private garden. There is a modern kitchen with everything you need for daily use. We found the house well-designed and felt very comfortable. The typical steep staircase is equipped with a railing, so our son (3) was well protected. After a few times going up and down the stairs, you get used to it. The beds were also good. There’s nothing to complain about here. The best part is that you can walk to the beach in just about 10 minutes. We think Ouddorp has the most beautiful beaches in the whole area. There is so much to experience here; my husband surfs and gets his money's worth. We did an alpaca hike on the beach with the kids. It's a must to visit A Seal, the seal rescue station, and of course to enjoy the beaches extensively while we are here.
We had a wasp problem during our stay, but the really very nice landlord resolved it quite quickly. Thank you very much for that! We also got to know the park owners in that situation; here too, the friendliness and promptness are worth mentioning.

We would love to come back here!

How is the weather in Ouddorp?

The Climate on the Dutch Coast

The climate in Ouddorp can be described as moderate and warm. For your holiday in a North Sea holiday home, you can expect average temperatures between 15 °C and 17 °C in summer. In Ouddorp, the picturesque beach with its dunes is the most beautiful attraction. If you walk from your holiday home to the center of the town, you will find the Gothic village church of Sint Maarten. Built in the 14th century, it impresses with very interesting architecture. A technical masterpiece is the Brouwersdam, the seventh construction of the Delta Works in the Netherlands. This dam closes off the Brouwershavense Gat and protects the interior from the sea. In its center is the holiday park Port Zélande with bungalows and many offers for water sports. In the park, you can sail, windsurf, kite surf, and ride beach buggies.
