Chalet in Ötz near Hochötz Ski Lift

We had a very nice ski weekend at the accommodation. The house is new, very well-maintained, and we really liked the apartment. The hostess was very friendly, always approachable, and responded quickly and easily to our questions. We felt completely comfortable and can definitely recommend the accommodation.

Unfortunately, it has aged and is outdated; the toilet and the shower were both separately located in a side room/chamber. The second toilet in the hallway had no hot water for handwashing. However, the beds were very good in size and mattress quality. One room was very cramped, but the other two rooms had sufficient space. The kitchen was very small; the dishes were behind a bench where one could eat with six people, but it was so cramped that it was not comfortable. No dishwasher unfortunately washing up on vacation is a minus for us personally. The landlords live in the house everything is very open the lower rooms are on the hallway so it can happen that you see the landlords and the family in their underwear on the way to the toilet. All in all the price was cheap for Ötz however it is not directly in Ötz there is bus service but very few times in the evening not at all you always have to go by car since there is no gastronomy nearby.

We had a wonderful stay in this charming apartment! It was perfect for our ski vacation, with easy access to several ski areas. The hosts were very helpful and provided us with all the information we needed for our stay. The living room was cozy, and we enjoyed our evenings on the balcony. Furthermore, local attractions like the Ötzi Village and the Stuibenfall contributed to our experience. We would love to return!

Two gondola lifts take you from the valley station up to an area that is 100% equipped with snow cannons, ensuring snow for the entire season on all 39 kilometers of slopes. The Wetterkreuzbahn mountain station is at an altitude of 2,272 meters. Seven huts provide refreshment stops between descents, and once a week, the slopes are illuminated until 10 pm for night skiing. A visit to the over 5,000 m² Kidspark in Oetz should definitely be planned for families with children. The playground, designed under the theme of Knappenwelt and Bergwerk, is one of the largest freely accessible playgrounds in Tyrol, where children can happily play on slides and climbing frames.
