the landlords are absolutely hospitable, the holiday flat is very nice and spacious furnished, bus stop is directly in front of the house, I can recommend this house with a good conscience. ps: in addition, the restaurant calimero is recommended in kappl village, price performance is top.

Better than I expected at this price point. Getting around solo was easy thanks to the free ski bus nearby. Small things like having a dishwasher and coffee machine made mornings easier. That mountain view from the balcony really stood out in the afternoons.

What do you need to experience in Kappl?

The path to the marmots in Kappl

Kappl is a modern holiday resort that has retained its rural tradition. An accommodation or a holiday home, apartment, or apartment are ideal starting points for wonderful hiking tours into the mountain world of the Paznaun Valley. You can also go on a pilgrimage on the Way of St. James. From Kappl, it goes via the Heiligkreuz- and Ruhesteinkapelle to the Seßladalpe and the Niederelbehütte. During the three-hour hike, you will also pass the magical Fatlartal with the idyllic Riepasee. In summer, you can also embark on the Culinary Way of St. James and be served fine gourmet menus on four huts. It is worth visiting Blankasee with wonderful views of the Blankahorn and the Hohen Riffler. With a little luck, you can even spot marmots at this mountain lake. The Grübelsee also offers a charming view, surrounded by the peaks of the Samnaun Alps. From the village square in Kappl, you can hike via the Visnitz waterfall and a panoramic path to the Grübelsee. In Kappl, the numerous chapels are worth seeing. At the Kerkerkapelle, you can find three life-size wooden figures created by sculptor Johann Ladner in 1760. The depicted soldiers mock the bound Jesus. These sculptures are considered Kappl's landmarks. Further excursion possibilities include Imst, Neustift in the Stubai Valley, Serfaus, Telfs, Obergurgl, or Sankt Anton am Arlberg for winter sports or outdoor adventures. Rent a comfortably furnished accommodation or an apartment or a house with a view of the mountains, sauna, kitchen, balcony, terrace, private parking, and enjoy unforgettable holidays in the region.

Typical for the Tyrolean Oberland and its mountains are the rustic mountain huts where you can stop and taste the delicacies of the local cuisine. In Kappl, you can also indulge in après-ski and turn night into day. If you prefer a cozy atmosphere, visit the cafés in Kappl, which are institutions in the village.
