Beautifully situated accommodation with mountain and valley views from the breakfast terrace as well as from the very original outdoor shower and toilet. The cottage is lovingly decorated with a fireplace. The access road winds in switchbacks, giving a taste of beautiful hiking tours directly from there.

Simply unbelievable

We arrived in Torcigliano after an 8-hour drive, with a dog and a child. It was even more beautiful than the photos here on Ferienhausmiete.de. The cottage is wonderfully nestled in a wooded area on a mountain in a small village. The road up there almost gave me a heart attack every time, but I had a great driver and the more we drove up and down, the easier it became.
The cottage itself was located on a slope surrounded by many olive trees, a meadow with terraces, and a fabulous view. It was extremely lovingly and perfectly furnished. The kitchen had more utensils than at my home, so I made notes of what was missing in my kitchen. The living room was a flight of stairs higher and was extremely comfortably furnished with a couch, TV (German channels), DVD player, many movies, and books. All windows in the house were equipped with mosquito screens. The bed was on a gallery next to the stairs in front of the living room, and it was great to lie in it. The mattress was perfect, and the pillows, which I usually have something to complain about, were really cuddly.
But what rounded off the whole experience was the great landlady. We didn't feel like holiday guests, but we were warmly welcomed by her. She gave us tips for sightseeing, asked us about further wishes, and inquired daily whether everything was to our satisfaction. We had a lot of fun and laughed a lot together, we were on the same wavelength.
When we had to leave after 7 days, a bit of melancholy set in. We had not only found a great place to stay, but also met a great and generous woman. We arrived as strangers and left as friends.
We will gladly come back. Goodbye Claudia.

FANTASTIC

Wir sind vor wenigen Wochen (April 2024) erst bei Casa di Toto angekommen - die Straße zum Haus zu gelangen ist abenteuerlich, aber nichts unmögliches. Wir hatten einen Van, aber ich verstehe, warum T (der Besitzer) ein Auto empfiehlt - das Haus ist größer als man sich anhand der Fotos vorstellt. 3 Etagen - große Küche mit allem zum Kochen, Kamin, viele große Schlafzimmer für 10/12 Personen, Außenbereich mit wunderschönem Garten, Terrasse und Baumhaus für Kinder, erstaunlicher Pool an einem spektakulären Punkt mitten in Olivenbäumen. Ich kann nicht richtig erklären, welches Gefühl einen überkommt, wenn man dort ist - einfach ein paradiesisches Eckchen.
