Description
The rustic stone house dating from the 16th century has been carefully renovated in typical Tuscan style and tastefully furnished with antique furniture, so that the ambience of the past has been preserved.
It is located in a small characteristic medieval village on a hill in Panoramalage in the idyllic landscape of Garfagnana between Lucca and the white beaches of Versilia and near the natural park of the Apuan Alps.
Pets are welcome, please specify when booking.
Interior:
With 300 m² of living space, the three-storey villa offers plenty of space for 8 persons, which are accommodated in 3 bedrooms with own bathrooms.
Through the main entrance on the middle floor you reach a spacious living room with comfortable seating and an antique fireplace. From here, guests have access to the covered panoramic terrace, which has a large table and 8 chairs for outdoor dining.
On this level is also the rustic kitchen equipped with all modern appliances with a likewise large dining table.
On the terrace there is a guest toilet.
The upper floor consists of a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom (with bath), a triple bedroom with single beds, also with private bathroom (with shower). From both bedrooms, guests have access to the second covered terrace, where you can enjoy the fantastic views of the Apuan Mountains at breakfast or a glass of good wine.
On the ground floor you can find a cozy living room with fireplace, a kitchenette, a triple bedroom with double bed and a single bed and private bathroom (with shower).
Next door in the large laundry room is available to the guests a washing machine.
Outside:
From both terraces you have a wonderful view of the Tuscan countryside and the garden with the fenced pool area, equipped with sun loungers, parasol and a table with chairs. The pool (7,5 x 5,5 m, 1,60 m deep), which is immersed in the ground, has a brick staircase, massage jars and can be illuminated in the dark.
There is a barbecue available.

Location and surroundings of object
The historical villa is located in the village of Massa di Sassorosso, a small village on the slopes of Pania di Corfino, typical of the Garfagna, not far from the great nature reserve "Orecchiella".
Here, guests can get to know the true village life and take an aperitif in the small bar or try the local specialties to take home. The convenience store, post office, the pharmacy and a hairdresser are within walking distance.
The villa is an excellent starting point for numerous activities in the beautiful surroundings. Extensive cycling and hiking tours on the numerous green trails, horseback riding, golf, tennis, fishing in the river or a visit to the thermal baths are only a small selection of possibilities.
Very recommendable is a trip to the famous wide beaches of Versilia with its exclusive seaside resorts Forte dei Marmi and Viareggio.
The Feriendomizil is an ideal starting point for day trips to the well-known Tuscan art and culture cities such as Lucca, Pisa, Prato or Florence.
