Description
The holiday home is surrounded by an 800 m² garden with a 10m x 5m (depth m) pool.
For the outdoor meals there is a grill and a pizza oven. The shaded dining area under a large tree is equipped with table and chairs and is situated in a panoramic position overlooking the pool.
The country house is suitable for 8 to 11 persons (4 bedrooms - 2 double rooms and 2 twin rooms, 1 sofa bed for 2 persons and an additional single bed). All 4 bedrooms are on the first floor. Two baby cots are available
On the ground floor there is a large living / dining room with a well equipped kitchen and a bathroom with shower
On the first floor there are 4 bedrooms, bathroom with shower and a covered terrace

The holiday home is situated 500 metres from the small village of Villa Collemandina in a beautiful hilly area of Tuscany (50 km north of Lucca)
It has been restored with great taste
The location at about 550m above sea level ensures a pleasant climate even in midsummer (the night temperature is rarely above 18 ° C.)
The property is an excellent destination for a relaxing holiday and exploring the region of Garfagnana with its enchanting villages, beautiful landscapes, as well as ideal for walks and hikes (we recommend in the Natural Park Orecchiella) and other outdoor activities
At the same time it is a good starting point to spend Pisa, Lucca or a day at the beach.
The nearest larger town is Castelnuovo di Garfagnana (9 km away) and has many restaurants, cafés, bars, shops, supermarkets and a weekly market open on Thursday.

Wonderful stay - relaxation pre-programmed
We stayed in this holiday home for a week in June and felt very comfortable. The house is equipped with everything you need and therefore invites you to cook, although there are also very good restaurants in the immediate vicinity. The pizzeria in the small village is within walking distance and highly recommended. The pool of the accommodation is a real highlight - clean, super size, enough sunbathing space and a beautiful view of the mountains. The host helped us with everything, for example with restaurant reservations when the owners only spoke Italian ;)
When arriving, make sure to drive via the village of Villa Collemandina to the house - for all non-SUV owners, the journey is otherwise a test of endurance ;)
