The two of us spent a week in house number 7. Located in the middle of a small spruce grove, we had a very quiet and relaxing time there. On the edge of the beautiful mountain town of "Lautenthal", a fully equipped small " Nurdachhaus, or " Finnenhaus " awaits those seeking relaxation. If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, this is the place for you. In the Ferirnhaus, the holidaymaker wants for nothing. A small but well-equipped kitchen offers everything you need to prepare a delicious meal. Even washing-up liquid and rags were available. Entertainment is also well provided for. There is a flat screen with cable TV and a stereo system. Be careful with the steep stairs to the sleeping area in the attic. However, this does not detract from the cosiness. Despite the many complaints about the lack of internet: We had mobile phone reception . At least 2 "bars" in the display. (That was enough to set up a hotspot and we even had Wi-Fi, even if it was a bit slow. But the main thing is to relax, so availability on the phone is of secondary importance. Maybe it was because the surrounding trees didn't have any leaves in March...hence the relatively good mobile phone reception. What we noticed a bit negatively: The houses are operated with night storage heaters. These relicts from the 80s, known as electricity guzzlers, are no longer up to date. But you can see that in the course of the renovation work in the individual holiday homes, they are being converted to more modern electric flat radiators. That's good. Unusual but not a problem for us: You have to deposit the electricity you use in cash at the end of your stay. We think it would make more sense if this was included in the booking package. We used 165 KWh in this week in March and thus almost 40 euros in electricity costs. Conclusion: Great holiday homes at a very reasonable price. Total peace and quiet. Super.

A rustic, cosy house to feel at home in, which is equipped with many remarkable extras and is obviously run with a lot of heart and soul. Uncomplicated, quick and very nice communication with the landlady completes this top offer!

We were 6 people, we all felt very comfortable. The pool area with sauna is very nice we liked to stay in the area, the pool could be a little warmer for us it was too cool. In the kitchen I missed small bowls, otherwise it was very well equipped. The only thing I personally didn't like was that the landlords weren't there when we arrived, everything was discussed over the phone... It was a nice holiday.
