All holiday homes have a parking space, garden furniture, barbecue, flat screen TV with cable TV, stereo with CD player, fully equipped kitchen, coffee maker, Senceo coffee maker, kettle, egg boiler etc. ....
Of course you will also find all the "small stuff" from the frying pan to the coffee spoon.
Our houses are equipped as follows:
- Living room with dining area
- practical kitchen (Senseo coffee machine, toaster, egg cooker, crockery, etc....)
- two bedrooms on the 1st floor (separated by a door)
- Shower room and WC
- Terrace
- own garden
- 1 parking space
The equipment includes:
Flat screen, cable TV, stereo with CD player, Senceo coffee pod machine, rain shower, cot, high chair, table, chairs and parasol on the veranda, two deck chairs for the garden and a barbecue. In winter, each has a sledge.

Our cozy A-frame houses in Lautenthal offer space for up to four people and are ideal for anyone seeking peace and relaxation in the midst of nature. The houses are located on a quiet private road in a cul-de-sac, offering a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere away from through traffic. Here you can unwind and enjoy the beautiful Harz landscape.
A perfect place for a relaxing family holiday, a getaway for two, or a few restful days in nature.
The Innerstetalsperre is only 10 minutes away, the Innerste can be reached in 1 minute. Lautenthal has an outdoor pool, and at the Harz Schnitzel King (10 min. on foot) you can eat excellently.

A holiday home with heart – we will gladly come back! ❤️
We spent our vacation in the holiday home at Waldschlösschen and will fondly remember our stay. The small wooden houses are located in a quiet, beautiful environment in the heart of the Harz.
In the house, you can really find everything a family might need in everyday life during a vacation – starting with small items like salt to a well-equipped kitchen with an oven, and even a drying rack. One immediately notices that someone has put a lot of thought and heart into the furnishings. Above all, care has been taken to ensure that everything is practical and functional, allowing for comfort even during a longer stay.
Of course, one can see that the holiday home has been around for several years. At the same time, it is evident that it is well-maintained and that necessary repairs and improvements are carried out regularly. The location is also an excellent starting point – both for hikes in the mountains and for excursions to other places and sights in the Harz.
The hosts were very friendly and warm. We can say the same about Lautenthal and its residents – during our stay, we repeatedly encountered very friendly and helpful people.
Thank you for allowing us to spend our vacation here. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back! ❤️

We can highly recommend the accommodation.
It is a small, fine, completely sufficient place. In the evening, one can enjoy a beautiful idyllic view that conveys so much strength and tranquility. The cabin is equipped with everything you need, and there is even Wi-Fi (necessary when traveling with teenagers;))

The best choice for a happy vacation

Beautiful cabin
The location is wonderful. The cabin has everything you need. Parking available. Very lovingly furnished.
Only downside: it was very cold and we didn't want to turn on those energy hogs. So just a small fan and the same in the bathroom. We froze, and an efficient heating system should be installed there. Also in the bathroom.

Holiday home
Dear Thieme family, after more than 26 years we have once again vacationed in your holiday homes. We have rediscovered old things and still have not seen everything of the very beautiful mountain landscape. The holiday home is beautifully situated with direct access to the forest and has a certain charm. The holiday home is clean, the interior modern, comfortable, and equipped with practically everything needed in a household. The stairs to the bedroom are adventurous; you just have to be careful, but you can hold on well.
We had internet, so everything was good.
A compliment to the cleaning team, who helped us with our small problem with the heater and replaced it immediately.
We really enjoyed our time in the holiday home again.
We would love to come back!

Im Haus findet man wirklich alles, was eine Familie im Alltag während eines Urlaubs brauchen könnte – angefangen bei Kleinigkeiten wie Salz über eine gut ausgestattete Küche mit Backofen bis hin zu einem Wäscheständer. Man merkt sofort, dass sich jemand bei der Ausstattung viele Gedanken gemacht und viel Herz hineingesteckt hat. Vor allem wurde darauf geachtet, dass alles praktisch und funktional ist und man sich auch bei einem längeren Aufenthalt wohlfühlen kann.
Natürlich sieht man, dass das Ferienhaus schon einige Jahre hinter sich hat. Gleichzeitig merkt man aber auch, dass es gepflegt wird und notwendige Reparaturen und Verbesserungen regelmäßig durchgeführt werden.
Die Lage ist außerdem ein hervorragender Ausgangspunkt – sowohl für Wanderungen in den Bergen als auch für Ausflüge zu anderen Orten und Sehenswürdigkeiten im Harz.
Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und herzlich. Das Gleiche können wir auch über Lautenthal und seine Einwohner sagen – wir sind während unseres Aufenthalts immer wieder sehr freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Menschen begegnet.
Vielen Dank, dass wir unseren Urlaub hier verbringen durften. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder! ❤️
Es ist eine kleine, feine, vollkommen ausreichenden Unterkunft. Am Abend kann man eine wunderschöne idyllische Aussicht genießen, die so viel Kraft und Ruhe vermittelt. Die Hütte ist mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt und es gibt sogar Wlan (notwendig wenn man mit Pupertierchen reist;))

Einziges Manko: es ist sehr kalt gewesen und wir wollten nicht diese Stromfresser anmachen. Also nur ein kleiner Lüfter und im Bad dasselbe. Wir haben gefroren und man sollte dort eine effiziente Heizung einbauen. Auch im Badezimmer.
Das Ferienhaus ist sauber, das Interieur modern ,bequem und mit praktisch allem was man im Haushalt benötigt. Die Treppe zum Schlafzimmer ist abenteuerlich, man muss halt aufpassen , aber man kann sich ja gut festhalten.
Wir hatten Internet ,also alles gut.
Ein Lob noch an das Reinigungsteam ,was uns bei unserem kleinen Problem mit dem Heizlüfter geholfen hat und diesen sofort austauschte.
Wir haben unsere Zeit in dem Ferienhaus wirklich wieder sehr genossen.

Alles war schon fertig als wir kamen, kleine Geschenke (Getränke haben auf uns gewartet)
Die Treppe nach oben ist super steil und sehr glatt.
Leider stellten wir fest, das nicht alles toll ist.
Die Küche war leider nicht sauber.
In der Schublade Essensreste vom Vorgänger.
Der Herd war dreckig und die Spüle ebenso, sowie der Schrank von innen.
Naja ? haben uns dann weiter umgesehen, Bad Tür war voll mit Zahnpasta und der Spiegelschrank in den Ecken mit Staub.
Oben in den Zimmern war sehr viel Spinnenweben (Kind wollte dort nicht schlafen)
Die Matratzen waren sehr hart aber das ist ja Ansichtssache. Und jeden empfindet es anders.
Dennoch war es so ein toller Urlaub zwar kurz aber toll. ?
Und sonst findet man echt alles in den Häuschen.
Die Vermieter sind super nett und antworten immer sehr zeitnah.
