A special mention goes to the landlord Maria. She was incredibly warm, helpful, and always available. With her valuable tips for excursions, beaches, and restaurants, she made our vacation even more beautiful. We were especially touched that she continuously surprised us with delicious Croatian specialties. This loving hospitality is anything but taken for granted and made us feel not just like guests, but truly welcome. The holiday apartment was very well equipped, all the essentials of daily life were on site, so we didn't have to go shopping for spices, garbage bags, or toilet paper. The air conditioning in the living kitchen worked perfectly, although the bedrooms were still quite warm. We particularly liked the very large terrace with the outdoor kitchen and the grill. We spent many beautiful afternoons and evenings here. We mostly went to the beach in the mornings and evenings, which is only 10 minutes from the vacation apartment. In the second week of vacation, the beach was unfortunately very crowded. We found the crystal-clear water positive and that this beach, with the cozy mocha bar, was mostly visited by locals.

We felt comfortable right away!
We had the green apartment with 2 kids and a dog, and it was completely sufficient for us.
There are 2 bedrooms, each with a double bed, and 2 separate bathrooms with a shower.
Ms. Dedic is a very nice host and fulfilled every wish we had.
The apartment does not have a dishwasher or washing machine, but washing dishes together with the family also invites conversations :)
Air conditioning costs €0.80/hour (but we didn't need it). The relatively strict pool rules are (once you know the reason) not so great for kids, but we managed and were often out and about anyway. The kitchen is somewhat sparsely equipped. (For example, the baking tray doesn't fit in the oven, there is only one large dull knife and no bread knife.) However, we didn't report this - because we managed just fine - and I'm sure it would have been fixed right away. Mrs. Dedic gave us tomatoes and eggs from her own garden, and we had a good conversation.
From the apartment, the whole island can be explored well, as it is located right in the middle.
Dog walks directly from the door are easily possible. One just has to deal with the fact that there is a lot of ups and downs on a hilly island. So, one needs to be fit, then one can really explore beautiful places. We wish Mrs. Dedic all the best for the future and thank her for the great vacation with her!
