Beautiful holiday apartment

The apartment is very well-kept, the furnishings met all wishes, and you can tell that the decor was done with great attention to detail.
The booking and key handover went wonderfully, and the contact with the landlord was very nice and uncomplicated.
The apartment is located near the forest, making it a great starting point for hikes or bike tours, but the beach and shopping options are also easily accessible on foot. Through the large windows, the living room is almost like a small winter garden on sunny days, especially in October, and with the view of the meadows, it is wonderful for relaxing and unwinding.
But we also used the balcony in cold weather, wrapped warmly, with a warming drink.
The price-performance ratio is top-notch.
We thoroughly enjoyed our short vacation in Prerow in this beautiful, cozy holiday apartment and would love to come back.

Family vacation with dog

We spent 1 week on vacation in this great, well-kept, and well-located holiday apartment during the autumn holidays. We brought our dog with us. The kitchen of the apartment is generously equipped and lacks nothing, the bathroom is bright and quite large, the 2 bedrooms offer enough space and storage, and a vacuum cleaner is available (I always find that important when traveling with kids and a dog). The location is top, about 10-12 min. It's only a few minutes on foot to the beach and the town center. We will definitely come back.

Very beautiful house in country house style located near the beach! The furnishings are completely sufficient for at least six people, and it was very clean when we took over! The people here are also very friendly! The location is very good for hiking, or you can go to the beach. Anyone who wants to ride a bike won't be disappointed here either! So there is plenty available for all interests! Thank you!

Which sights are there in Prerow?

A Walk Through the Former Seafaring and Fishing Village

During your stay in Prerow, don't miss a walk through the village and along the Prerower Strom.

As you pass the almost ancient Sailors' Church, it's best to step inside: The nearly 300-year-old church once served as a guide for sailors, and its interior still tells exciting stories of seafaring today.

If you have booked a private vacation apartment in Prerow, a trip to the beautiful surroundings is a must. In the Darßer Forest in the National Park Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft, many hiking trails beckon, such as the Herb Trail.

On your hike through the breathtaking landscape, you will surely find the Darßer Ort Lighthouse. 134 steps lead you up there, where you have a great view over the Darß and the sea. Between May and October, you can climb the tower daily from 10 AM to 6 PM. (As of August 2023)

A great coastal panorama also opens up from the Prerower High Dune. Although it is only 13 meters high, it offers the best view of Prerow's North Beach and the nearby surroundings in good weather.

What is a must-see in Prerow?

Cultural Highlights Close to Your Vacation Accommodation

Get perfectly informed about the Darß coastal region at the Natureum. This includes not only the landscapes and unique flora around Prerow but also the biodiversity of the region's creatures, such as seals. During the summer months, the Natureum is open daily and costs just 6 € per person. (As of August 2023)

Another great experience is the Cartoonair at the Sea. The only caricature open-air festival in Germany attracts many visitors over the summer months, who enjoy the great exhibitions. During this period, small live shows by the artists also take place, where you are welcome to join for a small entrance fee!
