Mieming is a municipality that amazes and offers you numerous leisure activities for your holiday in a privately rented holiday home or apartment. For example, you can play golf at an altitude of 885 meters, hike to the Inntalblick viewpoint near Obsteig, or walk the Stamser nature trail through an enchanting oak forest. An imposing starting point for fantastic hikes is the Stamser Steg, a suspension bridge spanning the Inn River. Hiking enthusiasts are recommended to venture to the Roßkopf at 2,646 meters altitude - of course, this includes stopping off at the Inzinger Alm afterward. Active vacationers also enjoy a swimming pool, a riding stable, a toboggan run, cross-country ski trails, or tennis courts in Mieming. Skiers and snowboarders can use the small but fine family ski area Grünberg. In winter, snowshoe hikes also count among the highlights. A sacred sight is the Baroque parish church at the village square of Barwies. In Untermieming, the parish church of the Assumption of Mary, which was built in 1100, stands tall. The pilgrimage church Maria Locherboden is a popular pilgrimage site and can be reached via a beautiful hike. The Tyrolean state capital Innsbruck is only about 35 minutes away by car and is also worth a visit.

In Steirer's farm shop, you can not only get fresh bread from the wood stove - you can also get fresh eggs around the clock from the Eierhaus. You can also shop for your holiday home or apartment at the Bauernmarkt Mieminger Plateau. All typical products of the region - from bread, eggs, sausages, meat, milk, butter, mountain cheese, and goat cheese to schnapps, schnapps, or honey - can be found here and can be stocked up for your culinary projects.
