Here I can be quite brief. It was the perfect vacation for us. From the first contact to the further process to arrival, everything was excellent. The house is truly impressive. We had not a single point of criticism: everything you need is available; it is very clean, the outdoor facilities are well-maintained, and we really liked the quiet location. The good opportunities for walking with the dog also convinced us. A special mention goes to the very nice property manager Gabi. Everything was perfect from the first to the last contact. We would gladly come back.

We were 3 adults, we had the house including the studio, we felt very very comfortable here.
From the beginning, great contact with Mr. Beermann, who personally welcomed us upon arrival.
The house is simply a dream, it leaves nothing to be desired.
We have already booked again for next year.

Barcelona is the top hotspot during a holiday with a holiday apartment or house in Catalonia. In the city, you can visit numerous houses and villas of the Catalan Art Nouveau style. The landmark is the cathedral La Sagrada Familia, which is still unfinished. It is the most famous masterpiece of the renowned architect Antoni Gaudi. But besides the Sagrada Familia, you will also find other impressive sights and buildings in Barcelona, such as the Palau des la Musica Catalana or the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau. A highlight is also the Montserrat Monastery with its magnificent view of the Catalan hinterland. There are also sights worth seeing in Tarragona, where you can admire the archaeological ensemble of ancient Tarraco. In Girona, you will be fascinated by the Arab baths and the Baroque Cathedral Santa Maria with the Creation Tapestry from the 11th century. Lleida impresses with the Old Cathedral and the Park Camps Elisis with the Mermaid Fountain. In Mont-roig del Camp, you will find the Centro Miro dedicated to the painter Joan Miro, which informs about his works created in the town. One of the most popular sights on the Costa Brava is Empuriabrava with its beautiful beach and the largest marina in Europe.
Choose a holiday apartment or house with a sea view and private pool in Catalonia and enjoy the diverse range of activities and attractions. The region offers something for everyone, whether you are interested in nature, sports, or culture.
Few coastal sections combine history and culture as much with beach and water fun as the Costa Daurada (or Costa Dorada). The "Golden Coast" owes its name to the fine, golden shimmering sandy beach, which stretches for about 100 kilometers north and south of Tarragona. Many of the beaches and coves are ideal for families or even dogs. A holiday with a dog in Catalonia is not uncommon. On the Costa Dorada, you will also find the theme park PortAventura World, which especially delights children. The Costa Brava also magically attracts holidaymakers with families. Discover the magnificent bays and picturesque beaches. The town of Calonge on the Costa Brava is worth seeing, with its medieval castle, the historic church Santi Marti, and the Calle del Calcul. Playa de Aro (Platja d'Aro) is another destination for families. Here you will find one of the longest and one of the few car-free beaches on the Costa Brava. You can also relax or splash in the sea at Miami Playa. From here, you can explore the beautiful mountains with hikes. Rent a holiday home or apartment privately in Catalonia and dive into the fun!
Whether in Catalonia's capital Barcelona, in the province of Girona, in Empuriabrava, or Miami Platja - discover the unusual and unique cuisine of the surroundings during a holiday with a holiday apartment or house. At lunchtime (1:00 pm to 3:00 pm), many restaurants offer the Menu del dia (daily menu). It usually consists of a choice of four starters and two main courses. In Spain, dinner is usually eaten late (8:00 pm to 11:00 pm). Typical dishes are paella or tapas. However, in the larger towns, you can get food from all over the world. In Catalonia on the Costa Brava, the excellent local wines are highly appreciated. These include Penedes, Pla de Bages, or Alella.
In Catalonia, numerous holiday homes or apartments are available for private rental. In a quiet location, you will also find Fincas or a spacious villa with a pool that leaves nothing to be desired. Once you have found your holiday home, it is worth exploring the cultural highlights in addition to the beautiful sandy beaches. The architecture in Tarragona from the time of the Roman Empire is now a World Heritage Site. Discover the fascinating houses and buildings of this city. The Poblet Monastery, one of the famous Cistercian monasteries on the Costa Dorada, is also known for its impressive architecture. In Barcelona, it is worth taking a walk through the Gothic Quarter, the Barri Gotic. Here, the history of the city began in 133 BC on the hill Mons Taber when the Romans founded the place Barcino. The Park Güell is also a magnet in Barcelona. It is considered Antoni Gaudi's homage to nature. The world-famous bench decorated with broken ceramics above the market hall, which is modeled on Roman temples, is a must-see. You can get to know the master of surrealism, Salvador Dali, at the Theater-Museum Dali in Figueres. Here, the art of Dali and its expressiveness are brought closer to you.
Catalonia is an autonomous region in the northeast of Spain. To the east, it borders the Mediterranean Sea, which is why a beach holiday in Catalonia is highly popular among many holidaymakers and guests. Catalonia borders Andorra and France with the Pyrenees to the north, Aragon to the west, and the Valencia region to the south. The region of Catalonia is divided into the provinces of Barcelona, Girona, Tarragona, and Lleida. If you rent a cheap holiday apartment or house, it is best to arrive by plane. The largest airport in the region by far is Barcelona-El Prat. Vueling, EasyJet, Ryanair, or Lufthansa fly to the airport. At Terminal 2, there is a local train station that connects to downtown Barcelona every half hour. In the center of Barcelona, there are many more connections to other places in Catalonia. The region is also connected to the high-speed network of the Spanish and French railways. Coming from Germany, you can travel to Paris and then take the TGV to Catalonia. From Cologne, you should plan for just under twelve hours, and from Karlsruhe, ten hours. If you want to start your holiday with a rented Casa or Villa in a very special way, you can use the railway route through the Pyrenees, via the border station Latour-de Carol/Enveitg. You can reach this station with a regional train from Toulouse. Then, change to the Rodalia Line 3 towards Barcelona.
When traveling to Cataluna, you should definitely visit the places Barcelona, Selva and Empuriabrava. Here you will find dreamlike landscapes, charming towns, and many activities for an unforgettable vacation.
