Balatonlelle
We very much enjoyed our stay. The accommodation is ideally located – both the beach and the city center are just a few minutes' walk away. The large garden especially brought our children a lot of joy. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and we were warmly welcomed. We would love to come back!

Balatonszemes
We stumbled upon this accommodation by chance through holiday home rental, and were pleasantly surprised. The entire complex has a very nice location at the harbor in Balatonszemes, with some good restaurants nearby where you can communicate well in German or English. The bathing beach can be reached in about 2-3 minutes. Shopping options include an ABC market within about 10 minutes on foot.

Balatonlelle
The house is beautifully furnished and well equipped.
There are two seating areas in the well-kept outdoor area.
The location is also great. We walked to the beach in about 10 minutes.
There you can usually find a mostly shady spot under the trees.
Lake Balaton was pleasantly warm and clean.
And there is plenty of food and drink available.
The bike trips were also very nice, for example to the vineyard or the boat trips to Tihany or Badacsony. A very special advantage is that the landlord speaks good German, is very nice, and is always available if there are questions.
All in all, an absolute recommendation at a fair price.
Conclusion: Hungary is a beautiful country and vacation destination!
