This newly built luxury villa can be the ideal holiday home for your holiday! The very sophisticated and tastefully furnished, modern villa is cosy. In the morning you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the lake from the balcony. You get a lot of positive energy from the water. On the shady terrace next to the pool, you can fill up with a good coffee, a good book. In the evening, it could be a good feeling to spend time with your holiday partners next to chilled drinks and tasty barbecue dishes. In the heat, the only thing to do is jump into the water, either in the lake or the pool. There is plenty of space for the children to play in the garden. The approx. 2 km long free beach offers many options for relaxation. There are well-maintained playgrounds. Children will love feeding the swans and wild ducks. Those who want a little romance can watch the amazing sunset along the beach. For anglers, you can expect a big catch all night long! The nearby cycle path is ideal for shorter trips or even for Balaton tour.

Swimming also plays a major role during the holiday season in Fonyód. The gradually deepening sandy bottom of the Lake Balaton coast is ideal for all holiday guests, but the locals and the surrounding area also enjoy taking a dip in the rapidly warming coastal waters. To the delight of guests with pets, there is also a separate beach for dogs in Fonyód.
Pier: The 464 metre long breakwater pier offers the longest and most beautiful view of the coast of Lake Balaton and was built in 1906. With the harbour and adjacent event spaces, shops and restaurants, it forms a defining part of today's Fonyód. In summer there is also a mini amusement park with a Ferris wheel. And you can see many high-calibre performances on the open-air stage.
Viewpoints: You can enjoy the beautiful panorama of Lake Balaton from both viewpoints in Fonyód.
Market: The largest market on the southern shore of Lake Balaton takes place on Wednesdays and Saturdays to the delight of Fonyód's locals and visitors.

Tolles Haus mit Handicap
Ein tolles Haus mit leider kleinen Fehlern.
Wir haben für eine Woche (2 Erwachsene und 3 Kinder) gebucht. Die Übergabe war einwandfrei, die Besitzer (haben ein Haus direkt nebenan) sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Haus besitzt eine gute und solide Ausstattung. Viel Platz mit 3 Schlafzimmern und eine geräumige WZ und Küche. Auch die 2 Bäder waren in Ordnung.
Bei den 7 Fernbedinungen für den TV und diverse andere Komponenten ist Fantasie gefragt.
Allerdings muß man den Pool bemängeln, in der die Reinigungsanlage nur den Oberflächigen Schmutz beseitigt. Der Schmutz auf dem Grund wird nicht entfernt und sammelt sich leider Tag für Tag.
Ein WLAN Access Point ist direkt neben dem Kopfkissen eines der Kinderzimmer montiert. Als wir das für die Nacht ausgeschaltet haben, wurden wir am nächten Morgen höflich drauf hingewiesen, das das WLAN für dei Eigentümer zweckt Arbeit angelassen werden soll.
Auch liegt das Haus leider unmittelbar an der Bahnstrecke, welche rund um die Uhr (leider auch nachts) von Zügen befahren wird. Mann bekommt es zu 100% zu spüren. Entweder man schließt nachts alle Fenster, oder man hat eine relativ hohe Lärmbelästigung. Auch die Hunde, die im Nachbarsgarten nachts rumlaufen und alle Bewegungen mit lautem Bellen kommentieren macht einen erholsamen Schlaf fast unmöglich. Abgesehen von den durchweichten Matratzen in allen 3 Schlafzimmern, ist das Haus soweit in Ordnung.
Enttäuscht wurden wir von den Eigentümern am Abreisetag, als bei der Übergabe für einen gebrochene Liege noch 5000 Forint veranschlagt wurden sind. Die Liegen sind Gebraucht und mit der Zeit zeigen viele Verschleißerscheinungen an.
Wer also die Liegen benutzt, muß damit rechnen, im Schadensfall dafür zahlen zu müssen. Im Übrigen sind die restlichen 3 Liegen kurz davor...

Sehr schönes Haus in Topp Lage
Pro: sehr schönes und gepflegtes Anwesen in bester Lage
Contra: was überhaupt nicht geht, das Haus ist mit Videokameras bestückt, wo man vom
Besitzer
ohne Ankündigung überwacht wird( Verletzung der Privatsphäre). Leider darf man auch
keinen Besuch vor Ort empfangen, was ich sehr schade finde. Unsere ungarische
Verwandtschaft durften wir nur außerhalb des Anwesens treffen!
Das Haus wird hier mit Klimaanlage angepriesen, wovon wir keine Kenntnis hatten, da
wir darüber nicht informiert wurden. Bei Temperaturen nahe der 40 Grad, wurde das
Haus sehr schnell in den Schlafzimmern ( im Obergeschoss) unerträglich warm.
Auch wird hier eine Maximalbelegung von acht Personen angegeben mit vier
Schlafzimmern. Wir haben in den vierzehn Tagen unseren Aufenthaltes, aber nur drei im
Haus gefunden. Die Gläser in der Küche sollten mal wieder aufgestockt werden, um zu
sechst gleichzeitig Wasser trinken zu wollen, mussten wir uns im Supermarkt Plastik-
becher kaufen, die wir auch gleich als Zahnputzbecher nutzten.
Einfache Sachen wie ein Toaster oder eine vernünftige Kaffeemaschine suchte man
vergebens in diesem Haus. Simple Sachen wie Eierlöffel und Eierbecher gab es auch
nicht. Für maximal acht Personen eine Singlekaffeemaschine (die auch noch
hoffnungslos verkalkt ist) hinzustellen, ist eine Zumutung gewesen. Man konnte hier nur
in Etappen Frühstücken, da die Kaffeemaschine vor dem Entkalken für zwei Tassen
zwanzig Minuten brauchte.
Wer so viel Geld kassiert, sollte für einen gehobenen Standard sorgen!!!!!!!
Für über Dreitausend Euro in vierzehn Tagen kann man bestimmt mehr erwarten.
Trotzdem empfehle ich das Haus wegen seiner Topp Lage und dem schönen Pool.
