This beautifully renovated, detached holiday house is located in the Balatonfenyves-alsó area, not far from the popular free beach. Thanks to the location of the house, we can pleasantly enjoy the sun, but shutters are also available against the great heat. In the well-kept garden you can sunbathe and barbecue wonderfully. The large covered terrace also invites you to relax. The beautiful new kitchen is fully equipped. The large and spacious living room with dining area is very cozy. It is equipped with a modern television and unlimited Wi-Fi. Thanks to the fiber optic cable, the connection is more stable and faster. Five German-language channels are available. Our guest uses the holiday house independently. The upper floor of the house is not used, the owner or other guests do not stay there.
Nearby there is a small, friendly grocery store, ice cream parlor, and restaurant. A well-known free beach of Balatonfenyves is 700 m from the house. Next to the Balatonfenyves-alsó train station is the cozy free beach of the settlement, which has been significantly modernized in recent years. The free beach Balatonfenyves-Alsó is a friendly place where you can enjoy the water of Lake Balaton and the proximity to nature. The beach is covered by a large lawn, where you can sit under many shady trees. The water is accessible via a long pier, but due to the slowly deepening shore, it is ideal for families with small children.
Beach services include a buffet, a shower, a washroom, a clean changing cabin, a playground, and pedal boats. It is also easily accessible on foot from the holiday house. The open beach Balatonfenyves-Alsó is a good choice if you want to spend a great beach holiday on the shore of Lake Balaton. One of the locations of "Mozdulj Balaton". Next to the entrance, various sports equipment has been installed in the shallow water, which is especially suitable for games and sports. To the left of the entrance, a safe, certified, and annually inspected playground for children has been set up, consisting of various climbing frames, swings, and a sandbox. At the entrance on the right side of the beach there are buffets with a wide selection of food and drinks.
But it is worth trying several beaches, as each of them has a unique atmosphere that makes you want to stay there with your family. In Balatonfenyves we also recommend the central Nagystrand, the largest free beach of the settlement. It is also popular with families with small children, as there are several sandy beach sections that gradually get deeper. A great “water sandbox” for children, which provides safety.

Beach and leisure opportunities: The local free beach (szabadstrand) offers shallow, safe water—ideal for small children—as well as large lawns under shady trees.
Excursion tip: Nearby is the famous narrow-gauge railway (Balatonfenyvesi Gazdasági Vasút), which takes guests through the impressive natural landscape of the Nagyberek nature reserve.
Connections: Thanks to its own stop on the southern shore railway line, the district is excellently connected to public transport.
