Haus Sonne offers pure relaxation for families and friends - groups of 6 to max. 10 guests can feel completely comfortable and free here. Individually and lovingly furnished, the house has everything you need for a few beautiful days in the country: six bedrooms, three bathrooms, two kitchens, two surrounding terraces - and greenery and peace all around
Finkenwerder Hof was originally the seat of a hunting lodge. Today's Haus Sonne is the remnant of the former manor house: it stands slightly elevated and overlooks a park-like property. All windows offer a view of the greenery. The ensemble includes two other buildings built later, which are now also used as a holiday or seminar house. There are no fences - the houses stand next to each other, but each has its own character and its own area. There are fireplaces and fire bowls, table tennis, bicycles, etc. on the property.

Haus Sonne is located on the western edge of the Mecklenburg Lake District and belongs to the idyllic village of Finkenwerder Hof. Surrounded by meadows, fields, forests and lakes, Finkenwerder Hof can be reached from Berlin and from Hamburg in about 2 hours by car each. There are only six houses here, away from Goldberg and in a beautifully secluded location. You can walk 400 m through the meadow to the house's own jetty. Nearby there are wonderful bathing and fishing lakes, a horse-riding farm, a trolley track and the Dobbertin monastery, which is well worth seeing. Finkenwerder Hof is a district of Goldberg - it is located away from the usual tourist destinations in the western Mecklenburg Lake District and on the edge of the Nossentiner/Schwinzer Heide.

Great accommodation with lots of activities in the area
LOCATION AND ACTIVITIES:
The accommodation is very quietly situated a few hundred metres from Goldberg. Bicycles on site are in good condition and can be used to reach the bakery in Goldberg in 10 minutes. You can also reach 2 shopping markets (Rewe & Lidl) in 8 min. There are 2 rowing boats at the large Medower Lake. This lake is 2 minutes away by bike. Although it is suitable for rowing, it was too boggy for us to swim in. Lake Goldberg can be reached by bike in about 20 minutes and is more inviting for swimming. However, we strongly recommend travelling by car. The beautiful city of Schwerin is 1 hour away. In 16 minutes you can reach the beautiful bathing area with diving tower of the Passower See. A great horse-riding farm is also 30 minutes away by car. The people there are kind-hearted and the two-hour riding lesson is highly recommended. In a 20-minute drive you can also reach a rowing boat rental near Plau am See. You can take a boat through the beautiful old town and then go out onto Lake Plau. There are also beautiful bathing spots scattered around the lake.

On the ground floor there are two double bedrooms, one of which has its own bathroom with shower. A kitchen, living room and another bathroom with shower. On the first floor there are two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom. There is also a bathroom with shower and another kitchen. On the second floor / attic there are three more single beds.
The house offers good facilities for cooking and barbecuing. The bathrooms are tip-top and freshly renovated. There is a little dust and cobwebs here and there in the house, but not tragic for us. All rooms have at least one window with a fly screen so that you can air out overnight without being tormented by mosquitoes. There is also a table tennis table with rackets on site, a trampoline and two football goals, but without a net.
All in all, a very nice place to stay.

Relaxed vacation for larger groups
We spent a relaxing week with family and friends (7 adults, 3 children, 1 dog) at the Sonne house. The house is big enough to retreat, but also offers plenty of opportunities to sit together. The equipment is good. The courtyard has a large and beautiful outdoor area. You can feel very free there. The landlords are very nice and uncomplicated. From Hof Finkenwerder, there are numerous possibilities for nice bike tours. Swimming lakes and shopping opportunities in Goldberg can also be easily reached by bike.

A place of fullness
Once again I was at House Earth with my bow group for 4 days of intense encounters with each other and the bow and arrow.
Apart from the wonderful location, it is so easy to arrive here because the estate is run and designed with so much love by the Rubeau couple
It is and remains for me a "place of abundance" to which I always like to return.

Beautiful accommodation in the middle of nature
As an eight-person family, we had a very relaxed time at Haus Sonne in Finkenwerder Hof. Everything you need to feel comfortable is there. The owners were attentive and took care of all our needs. The rooms are cozy and there are many opportunities to go for beautiful walks or bike rides in the area. Our dog also felt comfortable, the freedom to run around in nature was great for him. I can highly recommend this accommodation!

Idylisch gelegenes Haus für Erholungsurlaub oder Seminar
Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Das Haus liegt mitten im Grünen, mehrere Seen in direkter Umgebung. Wir haben dort mit einer Gruppe ein Seminar abgehalten und waren begeistert v.a. von dem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis - es ist alles da, was man so braucht, sauber und alles sehr entspannt. Wunderschöner weitläufiger Garten unnd sogar eine Tischtennisplatte und Boote und Fahrräder, die wir benutzen konnten. Können wir echt weiteremtpfehlen!

We have a caretaker who lives a good 12 minutes away by car and who is always available for you if something is missing or not working.
