The boathouse was everything we had hoped for! Clean, comfortable, and pet-friendly, which was a big plus for us. The children enjoyed the adventure playground on the castle wall island while we relaxed by the water. Perfect for families who want to unwind and have fun.

The house urgently needs a fresh coat of paint and therefore seems a bit neglected at first glance, there are no sun loungers and the existing pavilion has not just stopped working yesterday, the equipment in the house is generally rather simple, for holidaymakers with low demands (also in terms of cleanliness) possibly acceptable, the price-performance ratio is not given here - a shame! Anyone who wants to vacation in a boathouse will certainly find more worthwhile objects! The very steep stairs to the bedrooms should also be mentioned. We didn't have any problems, but older people and small children could have real problems here, but still - a holiday on the lake district is definitely worth it - just not in this one A house :-(

If you are looking for peace, this is the right place for you. Here you can only hear the most wonderful bird concert all day long, beautiful! Unfortunately, when we arrived in May, there were still no flower pots and flower boxes planted, a shame!!! The boathouses in our neighborhood were green and blooming beautifully
