The furniture is outdated and has a few flaws. A vacuum cleaner would be good for the black tiles. The cleaning has not been consistently done. Check-in and reception were great, the pool and facility are very good. All in all, it's just fine.

What do you need to experience in Linstow?

Unique Ambiance in Nature

A highlight is the Van der Valk Resort Linstow. It is a hotel with 90 modern double rooms. Spread over 65 hectares are 300 apartments and holiday homes. A beautiful tropical water park extends over 1,100 m². The facility also includes a bowling center, an adventure playground, fishing and horse riding facilities, or a boat and bicycle rental. There is also a bathing beach at Linstow Lake nearby. Worth seeing in the town is the village church of Linstow-Kieth. The church (brick Gothic) dates back to the 13th century. In the Wolhynian Museum, you can relive the past of the Wolhynian Germans who were resettled here. We also recommend a visit to the Linstow Manor House. It is a single-story, eleven-axis brick building from the late 19th century. In the park of the house stand two Weymouth pines about 135 years old. The water mills in Dobbin and Linstow are impressive. Families will particularly enjoy the Adventure Center in Tessin. The surrounding area is also worth exploring. This includes the NABU Park Güstrow, the lighthouse of Warnemünde, Karl's Strawberry Farm, or the Rostock Zoo. Additionally, the Baltic Sea is nearby. The most beautiful beaches in Heiligendamm, Kühlungsborn, or Warnemünde are just a short half-hour drive away. Rent a family-friendly holiday home or accommodation for you and your children with sauna, WiFi, playground, and parking, or a private vacation apartment, and collect unforgettable holiday experiences during your stay with the whole family!

Where can I eat out in Linstow?

Sweet and Sour is Highly Popular

The monotony of the GDR times has long since disappeared from the kitchens in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. Several top chefs have now settled in the area, creating inventive dishes. Typical are sweet and sour flavored dishes, e.g., beef with raisins or lentil soup with prunes. The delicious fish soups are always a recommendation, especially those made with pike. The soups are usually prepared with vegetables and sour cream. In the region, classic stews have a long tradition. This includes the Mecklenburg turnip stew. At lunchtime, locals often enjoy potato salad, sometimes with pickles, boiled eggs, and herring. During your holiday in an apartment or holiday home with WiFi, would you like to try something typical of the region? Try the duck, stuffed with apples, prunes, and raisins! For dessert, Rode Grütt (red berry pudding) is recommended. Alongside beer (e.g., Lübzer), a grog or schnapps is often drunk for digestion, such as a Köm (caraway schnapps). Many restaurants within close proximity await your exploration during your stay.
