I had a wonderful time at the holiday home Stern from March 7 to March 14 in Hocksiel. The guest care from Mr. Sterne was unbeatable. The holiday home was well equipped, with everything one needs. I lacked nothing. I have been to the North Sea many times, but this holiday home deserves 5 stars. I would love to come back. Many thanks to the Stern family for ensuring that I could enjoy my break so much.

Beautiful and clean accommodation

We had our second stay in Hooksiel over the New Year, this time in Seepark 3 from the Schake family. The holiday apartment was very clean and tidy and had everything needed for a pleasant vacation. The bathroom is spacious, the layout of the living area is great, and the kitchen is very well equipped. The contactless arrival via code also worked wonderfully.

We have two suggestions for improvement:
1) The hallway light is with a motion sensor. Presence detectors that turn off the light after about 2 seconds when no movement is detected. This has often become a problem for us when tying shoes or putting on/taking off the dog. Perhaps it could be set a bit longer so that we can tie our shoes in the hallway without constantly waving for the light to stay on.
2) The Wi-Fi on site had really very frequent problems, so we couldn't use it properly. On a stormy day, when the satellite dish kept failing, the couch day was a bit more complicated.

All in all, however, a great vacation apartment in a super location - you are almost directly at the dike. We had a lovely stay. Warm regards from the south!

Quickly Reach Wangerland

You can reach your vacation apartment or holiday home in Wangerland on the North Sea by car, train, bus, or airplane. The nearest airport is located in Bremen and is about an hour's drive away. If you prefer to travel by train, head to the main station in Wilhelmshaven. The station is approximately 30 minutes from Wangerland. If you are traveling by long-distance bus, you will arrive in Wittmund, Jever, or Wilhelmshaven. By car, you can only reach your accommodation from the south. Coming from the A1, drive through Bremen towards Osnabrück/Oldenburg until you reach the Stuhr triangle. Then continue on the A28 towards Oldenburg / Wilhelmshaven. At the Oldenburg-East interchange, switch to the A29 towards Wilhelmshaven. If you are coming from the southeast, take the A1 via Osnabrück towards Bremen and at the Ahlhorner Heide triangle, take the A29 towards Oldenburg / Wilhelmshaven.
