The light-flooded flat is comfortably furnished so that you can feel at home from the first day of your holiday. SAT-TV, CD radio, books and board games are available for your entertainment. Comfortable garden furniture and barbecue facilities are available in the communal garden during the garden season

The living room has a dining area, two 2-seater couches and a reading corner with armchairs.

The fitted kitchen is equipped with sufficient crockery, cooking utensils and the necessary small electrical appliances (coffee machine, coffee pad machine, toaster, kettle, egg boiler, raclette and fondue machine). A dishwasher is available

One bedroom is furnished with a double bed, the other bedroom with three single beds.

Our holiday home "Zum alten Friesen" is located close to nature at the gates of Hooksiel on the North Sea coast. The popular seaside resort of Hooksiel is just under 2.0 km away, and the town centre is only 3.5 km away. The centre of Horumersiel is about 5.0 km away. In both villages you will find attractive retail shops, supermarkets and a wide variety of gastronomic offers.
Wangerland with its coastal bathing resorts offers countless restaurants, cafes as well as quaint pubs. In the numerous shops, young and old can find maritime gifts and souvenirs. The seawater indoor wave pool in Hooksiel and the Frieslandtherme with sauna and wellness area in Horumersiel invite you to relax.

GUEST CONTRIBUTION per day from 2021:
Adults € 1.75, 13-17 year olds € 1.15, 4-12 year olds € 0.60, reduced guest fees apply during the secondary guest contribution period.

Cancellation terms:

In the event of a cancellation, the tenant must pay 90% of the agreed rental price (excluding final cleaning, extra services, and guest fee) if re-renting in the same period is not possible. If the property is rented out to another party, only a processing fee of 40 euros will be charged. Therefore, the landlords recommend obtaining trip cancellation or interruption insurance in a timely manner. Should the rental of this apartment be prohibited during the selected travel period due to a governmental general ban on accommodation (epidemic/pandemic), a cancellation will be made free of charge.

New Year's Eve in Wangerland

We stayed in the Okko vacation apartment over New Year's. The apartment is very nicely divided, the bedrooms are very cozy, the kitchen is equipped with everything you need, and the living area serves its purpose. Everything you need is available and there is a parking spot in front of the door. The beds are very comfortable. The location is very nice if you come in the summer, and the beaches are not far away. You can do all your shopping and eat out in Hocksiel. The internet works well. The price-performance ratio is very good. Now, you can't only write positive things, here are a few things that stood out to us negatively. We had two large dogs with us, the stairs are very slippery and quite steep and narrow. The bathroom/shower was not clean - black mold in the shower cabin is not pleasant. The TV could be a size bigger since the living area is quite large. All in all, the apartment is very nice, probably more comfortable in the summer than in the winter.

Ordentliche Ferienwohnung

We found the apartment as described. In advance, we received a lot of information about the arrival, COVID regulations, and access to a well-designed digital guest booklet. The bedrooms are spacious, the open living area is cozy. The shower room could be larger. Fully equipped kitchen available. Numerous coastal towns can be reached by car in a few minutes. Unfortunately, there were few attractive indoor options, which would have been helpful in this weather. But we are not made of sugar and have made the best of it.

Große Ferienwohnung

The vacation apartment Ocko is really spacious and comfortable. We had lovely vacation days. In the fully equipped kitchen, we could cook delicious meals. Unfortunately, the Frieslandtherme was closed in January, so we had to use the swimming pool in Hooksiel. Those seeking peace will find it here.

We really enjoyed the pre-Christmas time on the coast. The Christmas market in Hohenkirchen and at the harbor in Carolinensiel are very appealing. The Okko apartment offers plenty of space and is worth recommending.

Positive Surprise: Vacation Rental Okko is top-notch

As a young family with two small children, we booked the travel time after the summer holidays and were really positively surprised by the first-time tried vacation rental. The apartment is large, especially the children's room offers space for playing children. Two high chairs were provided as a matter of course. Most of the furniture is made of solid wood. It was not furnished for practical purposes, but a beautiful apartment was offered. Only the bathroom is a bit small. Beautiful excursion options and short distances to the beach. Our boys didn't want to go home anymore.

We were able to spend wonderful vacation days in your lovingly furnished holiday apartment. We really did not miss anything, and even our two boys felt at home right away. Clean and very well-equipped holiday apartment. I specifically chose this apartment because we were allowed to bring our dog. The location is great, just cross the street and you can go for endless walks. Shopping possibilities and sights are easily accessible by car. We can definitely recommend the apartment.

5-star holiday

Top holiday flat at a fair price: families with children and dog are welcome here. Practical furnishings with lots of solid wood furniture, kitchen with dishwasher. The beach at Schillig and Hooksiel is really great. We had 2 weeks of sunshine and the time passed far too quickly. We will be back.

Successful Easter vacation.

During the Easter holidays, we stayed in the beautiful apartment called Ocko. We felt very comfortable. We were lucky with the weather and had many sunny days. We especially liked the Easter bonfire. It was just great!

The vacation rental OKKO is beautifully and lovingly furnished. It accommodates 4-5 people. We were 2 adults and 2 children. We also traveled with our dog, a Galga. The furniture, the equipment simply great. The highlight was the raclette for 4 people. The apartment was located on the upper floor. The various gardens invite you to relax. The main road between Horumersiel and Hooksiel where the property is located, does not bother even at night. You couldn't hear any traffic. However, we give only 3 points for the location, as the car had to be used for the evening dog walk, as it is dangerous to walk on foot or by bike due to the lack of sidewalks.

Nevertheless, we can still highly recommend the apartment.
