A weekend in Schillig
It was very nice here, the apartment is really great, kitchen well equipped, bathroom with bathtub, perfect WLAN and TV, everything modern and clean and tidy! The only drawback is that the sun only shines on the balcony in the morning and the rest of the day is in the shade. But the view is super great, you look directly at the North Sea. Highly recommended especially for dog owners, the beach is reachable in 5 min on foot.

Great holiday flat
The flat is modernly furnished and super equipped. The view from the balcony is great. The beach and two different playgrounds are within walking distance. We felt very comfortable during our short holiday.

Perfect
Everything you need for a relaxing holiday.
Fully equipped kitchen with microwave, large Smart TV with internet access, very good Wi-Fi without data limits and very friendly landlords who rent this flat privately.
The direct sea view and the sauna are perfect ways to unwind in the evening or during the day.
We can really recommend this flat with a clear conscience.
We have now found our regular accommodation in Schillig ❤️

Luxury combined with style.
A very stylish and tastefully furnished luxury apartment. An absolute dream for anyone who wants to spend a few beautiful days at the beautiful North Sea. The hosts are very friendly, incredibly helpful, and quick and reliable in processing inquiries and bookings. The apartment is very well equipped, we didn't miss anything. It is located in the most beautiful place that the North Sea coast has to offer for me. Schillig is perfect for holidays with a dog. An endlessly long sandy beach invites you to spend a few beautiful hours with your four-legged friend.

Can't get any better
For us, probably the perfect vacation ever. Very beautiful apartment, great sea view, and absolutely great location. The beach of Schillig is an absolute dream for dog owners. We have already booked the next vacation! The landlords are also very very nice, thank you Turowski family <3

A very beautiful, cozy, modern, and lovingly furnished holiday apartment where nothing is missing.
Funny and very nice landlord who takes care of problems immediately and is always helpful.
The dog-friendly beach is right nearby. Finally a beach in Germany where you have more than just 20 meters to walk and it is easily accessible.
We were completely satisfied and gladly recommend the apartment!

Caution: Major construction site - No relaxation possible! - Landlord did not provide prior information.
After completion of the construction site (estimated in 1 year) the following statements apply:
The furnishing of the apartment is TOP. Kitchen equipment is great! The location is very good. The apartment is very well furnished. Quick communication with the landlords. Large apartment building in which the apartment is located on the third floor.
Unfortunately, we were missing a note from the landlords about the major construction sites in front of and next to the house before the booking confirmation. Throughout our entire holiday period, we had to endure loud construction noise from 7 am to 6 pm. Escaping to the beach was not an option during heavy rain and bad weather. There was no chance to sleep in either of the two bedrooms. (Jackhammers, machine noises, diesel generators running constantly at night) We could have enjoyed the apartment and the balcony if there was no construction site. The construction sites will probably continue for another 12 months. Reviews from 2021 that do not mention the construction site are a bit confusing to us. These construction sites have been in existence for more than 12 months.
The existing washing machine is not in the apartment but in a laundry room and can be used for a fee as a shared washing machine. The password for the Sky subscription was nowhere to be found in the house.
From the landlords, we would have appreciated an honest indication in advance. All multi-family holiday homes at the same address are affected by the same construction noise. Google Earth does not have current images of this.

Dass Sie der einzige Gast waren, der Probleme mit der Baustelle hatte, hatten wir schon telefonisch geklärt. Untermauert wird das durch die vielen positiven Bewertungen, die wir auch auf den anderen Portalen haben.
Trotzdem haben wir um des lieben Friedens willen, einer erheblichen Rückerstattung zugestimmt.
Insofern finden wir Ihre negative Bewertung hier äußerst unfair.

Traumhaft
A dream of an apartment, very clean, very well maintained, and lovingly furnished! Nothing was missing, everything that the heart desires was available. During the day at the beach with the dogs and in the evenings a chill session on the balcony with a view over the dunes directly to the sea. It doesn't get any better. Contact with the landlords was great and always there for us, just as one would wish for! Many thanks for allowing us to stay with you and we will come back! Best regards from the Walsdorf family.

Unser Traumurlaub
Our dream vacation!!!
We spent an incredibly beautiful vacation for 10 days in their very well-decorated holiday apartment with a lot of love. We felt very comfortable in Schillig and experienced varied things every day. In terms of gastronomy, we preferred Hooksiel, where we would like to highlight Siggi's fish restaurant.
Thank you very much, we will gladly come back.

In autumn 2016 we visited Schillig for the first time through friends and it was love at first sight. The contract was signed in February 2017 and we were able to take over the new flat. Schillig is "love at first sight" for us and still captivates us today with its almost eerie silence for city dwellers. Even in the high season, when the party is raging on the main beach, you are completely undisturbed not 300 m further towards the natural beach. Of course, the party never takes place at night. The absolute premiere was a silent open-air disco where the visitors wore headphones :-)
