We were accommodated as a family with 2 children in the house for 10 days in August. Advantages:
- good location for explorations by car, short distance to the bays
- clean and quiet facility with a well-maintained pool, well-suited for small children and never overcrowded/pleasantly quiet
- very good amenities in the house with everything needed daily, many towels, air conditioning and ceiling fan in the bedrooms as well as a ceiling fan in the living/dining area
- Mr. Brauckhoff helped directly with questions
- grilling option is great

Negatives:
- Nothing to complain about. Thank you for everything. :)

Summer vacation 2026

We stayed as a family with a teenager for a few days in apartment 4. The apartment is equipped with everything necessary. As a nice welcome, there was a bottle of water and wine. Since it was very hot during our time, we really appreciated the air conditioning. There is a fairly large pool in the garden for cooling off. The villa is located in a quiet area. The beach, shops, and restaurants are each within a 5 to 10-minute walk. It was a nice vacation. Thank you very much to Mr. Engelmann and staff.

Small , well appointed villa with beautiful outdoor area in between the town of Santanyi and its beach

Mein Partner und ich haben unsere beiden Teenager-Söhne für zehn Tage in dieser Villa im Hochsommer mitgenommen. Sie ist wirklich gut für das Leben im Freien eingerichtet und der Pool ist größer, als er auf den Bildern aussieht. Er ist tief genug zum Hineinspringen und groß genug für ein paar Morgenrunden!
Wir haben die köstlichen Willkommensgeschenke, die für uns hinterlassen wurden, sehr geschätzt und es war sehr einfach, in die Unterkunft zu gelangen, selbst als wir spät in der Nacht ankamen. Sie liegt auf einem Hügel mit guter Aussicht von der Dachterrasse. Das Parken ist direkt vor der Tür auf der Straße möglich, es ist eine Sackgasse, sodass es keine Probleme gibt, einen Platz zu finden. Es ist ein Wohngebiet und sehr friedlich und ruhig. Der nächste Supermarkt ist Lidl, etwa 15 Minuten Fahrt, direkt außerhalb der Stadt Santanyi.
Es gibt keine Klimaanlage, aber in beiden Schlafzimmern gibt es fernbedienbare Ventilatoren, und als wir den Dreh raus hatten, die Fenster offen und die Fensterläden geschlossen zu lassen, war die Hitze erträglich. Es waren etwa 35 Grad Celsius, als wir dort waren. Wir verbrachten die meiste Zeit draußen auf der Terrasse oder im Pool.
Wir konnten keinen einfachen Fußweg zum Strand finden, es schien, als müsste man die Straße benutzen (kein Bürgersteig) und es gibt einen steilen Hügel auf dem Rückweg - aber es ist eine einfache Fahrt zu vielen in der Umgebung, und unser Favorit war Cala Mondrago im Nationalpark (15 Minuten Fahrt). Parken ist in der Hochsaison eine Herausforderung, aber nicht unmöglich, besonders wenn man früh oder spät geht. Franks Villa hatte eine große Auswahl an Kochgeräten, sodass es einfach war, dort in der heißesten Tageszeit Zeit zu verbringen. Es gab Luftmatratzen und Sonnenschirme, was wirklich praktisch war, und viele tragbare Ventilatoren, falls nötig. Der Nachbar über die Straße ist im Notfall verfügbar, da Frank im Ausland lebt.
Wir würden gerne zurückkehren.

In addition to the markets, the patron saint festivals are social highlights of the communities. Cala Ratjada, for example, celebrates the feast of St. Antoni on January 21 and the feast of the Virgen del Carmen, the patron saint of fishermen, on July 16. The festivities are sometimes accompanied by impressive fireworks.
