You can experience all this at Finca Sentido.
It is situated rurally, yet centrally between Sant Llorenc and Son Servera in the east of Mallorca.
Nestled in a beautiful and very large property with its own pool and wonderful views of the surrounding landscape, an oasis of well-being has been created where up to 6 people can leave everyday life behind. Via a small road you reach the detached finca with a beautiful panoramic view of the mountains. The location ensures pleasant temperatures even on hot summer nights. A gentle breeze does the rest.
The Sentido residence is available for exclusive use and features three bedrooms, a kitchen as well as an open-plan living area, two bathrooms, an additional guest WC, an 11 m long pool & several terraces, including a fantastic rooftop terrace. The larger bedroom has a bed measuring 180 x 200 cm; the slightly smaller second and third bedrooms each have a bed measuring 160 x 200 cm. One bedroom includes an en suite bathroom.
All bedrooms have floor-to-ceiling windows with direct access to the garden.
You also don’t have to miss out on the Bundesliga or your favorite shows. A modern satellite system has of course been installed. The non-smoking house is furnished with great attention to detail; should you still miss anything, please feel free to let us know. Of course, there is absolutely no aircraft noise.
. . . . and of course everyone should come along when the best time of the year is approaching – including your dog, after all, he is part of the family. Especially if you are planning a holiday in autumn/winter, tail wagging is guaranteed. Your four-legged friend will thoroughly enjoy the time at your side. And to ensure your dog has a thoroughly enjoyable holiday, you should definitely take along his favorite blanket, his familiar toy, food he is used to in sufficient quantity for the duration of the holiday, leash with collar, name tag with complete home address and telephone number, possibly a muzzle, as well as a travel first-aid kit specially for your pet. We, as hosts, feel most comfortable with the stay of large dogs. That you do not leave your furry friend alone in the car goes without saying, because even in the off-season it can still get very warm in Mallorca.

Location and surroundings of object
Finca Sentido is located in a rural area between the towns of Sant Llorenc des Cardassar and Son Servera.
It is less than 10 minutes by car to the nearest beaches on the east coast (Cala Millor, Sa Coma, Porto Cristo).
In the town of Son Servera, 2 km away, there are supermarkets, a Müller drugstore, restaurants, a medical center, a bakery, etc. . But also in the small, picturesque village of Sant Llorenc, which is just under 5 km away, there are wonderful restaurants and a nice little weekly market (every Thursday).
You will find a very large and long family-friendly beach in Cala Millor and Sa Coma, which is just around the corner.
Especially beautiful are the beaches in the north, such as Cala Agulla, Platja de Muro, to name just a few.
From the airport to the finca it is 53 km, the drive takes just under an hour. According to tradition, the village of Son Servera has existed since the 13th century; some believe it was named after the deer that are said to have once roamed this area.
Recently, a bypass road was built—previously, everyone who wanted to go to the beach drove directly through Son Servera—nowadays, fewer visitors get to see this small town, except perhaps on Friday mornings, when the weekly market takes place. The village center is traditional, with cafes and restaurants. The town also hosts a Müller drugstore as well as an Eroski supermarket.
Golfers will surely think of the local golf course when they hear the name of this town: Son Servera Golf is the second oldest golf course on Mallorca and was opened in the 1960s as a 9-hole course, but was expanded to 18 holes in 2012. It is located in Costa de los Pinos. In the immediate vicinity, Pula Golf is also recommended. Further golf courses in Canyamel and Capdepera are easily accessible from here. The popular holiday resort Cala Millor with its long sandy beach, which lies between the smaller resort Cala Bona and the nature reserve Sa Punta de n’Amer, also belongs to the municipality of Son Servera. Cala Millor’s Sa Màniga Auditorium is the venue for many cultural events, such as ballet, theater, and concerts.
From Son Servera you can quickly reach the charming town of Artà by car, which is also particularly popular with visitors from Germany. This town is popular not only for its basketry but also because of the lively weekly market on Tuesday mornings; in summer, the number of market stalls doubles.
Son Servera is therefore an excellent starting point for excursions to interesting places that you can discover in this region of Mallorca.

I would also like to recommend to you the very popular "eco" path ‘Via Verde’.
In 1921, a steam-powered train ran for the first time between Manacor – where the island’s pearl industry is based – and Artà in the northeast. This part of Mallorca, known as ‘Levante’ (Mallorcan ‘Llevant’), is often overlooked in favor of other areas of the island. Here there are gentle, wooded hills, peaceful valleys, small towns and villages, interesting sights, and a varied coastline.
When the railway line was closed in 1977, the route increasingly fell into disrepair. And although in recent years there were plans to reopen it as a tram line, these had no chance due to the recession. Today, the 29-kilometer-long route is flourishing anew – as an eco-trail called ‘Via Verde’. Motorized vehicles are prohibited and the route is monitored by solar-powered security cameras.
The ‘Via Verde’ from Manacor to Artà is the only one of its kind in the Balearic Islands and entices with changing landscapes along the route (sometimes the sea even appears in the distance). Detours to interesting places or small refreshments are also possible. In Sant Llorenç, Son Carrio, and Son Servera the path passes by restored old station buildings. And in the station of Artà, local handicrafts are offered for sale.
Joggers, hikers, cyclists, and riders from the area are already making frequent use of this relatively new route (officially inaugurated in October 2014). Sunday mornings are especially busy. Along the way, six rest areas invite you to picnic – with tables, benches, bike racks, and trash cans (unfortunately, however, without sanitary facilities). More than shrubs and almost 5,000 trees were planted along the route, including pines, holm oaks, tamarinds, and mulberry trees. Information boards provide helpful information about the flora and fauna along the way and about places in the area that you might want to visit.
You don’t need special hiking boots – with the even surface of the trail, comfortable, flat shoes (even sneakers) are perfectly sufficient. Only a small point of criticism: in the villages there are hardly any signs showing the way to the 'Via Verde'. Apart from that, it is a welcome addition for Mallorca, especially for people who like to explore the island under their own steam.
Finca Sentido is located in the immediate vicinity of the Via Verde and you can reach it on foot or by bike.
A wonderful starting point also for cycling tourists. At the end of 2025, the long-distance hiking trail (Gran Recorrido), the "East Mallorca GR 226," will also be opened.
The new long-distance route will be the third of its kind on Mallorca. It complements the already existing GR 221 (Ruta de Pedra en Sec, Port d'Andratx-Port de Pollença) and GR 222 (Artà-Lluc) in the Tramuntana Mountains. The three long-distance routes add up to 600 kilometers. The GR 226 is very beautiful, as it offers a great variety of landscapes, ranging from pine forests and secluded coves to historic villages, especially in the Llevant region. It is particularly appealing as it invites hiking enthusiasts who prefer coastal and easier routes, in contrast to the more demanding GR 221. The trail leads through unspoiled nature, especially near the Llevant Nature Park.

Pure relaxation
We were greeted warmly beyond measure by the landlady and our caretaker at Finca Sentido. Our holiday home exceeded our expectations many times over. We found a beautiful finca, lovingly furnished down to the last detail, which delighted us from the first to the last day of our holiday. Shopping facilities, beaches etc. were only a few minutes away by car. But what we enjoyed from the first moment on was....quietness! No noise, only the chirping of the crickets could be heard. Pure relaxation! Many thanks again to Mrs Diewes and our lovely on-site supervisor Julia Becker
We are already looking forward to the next time and can give our 100% recommendation.

Great finca- beautiful vacation
The house is really beautiful and the location is great. It is very quiet and you can really relax. It is also not far to the beach and the town. There are plenty of shopping opportunities. The house is very well equipped and nicely furnished. The pool is naturally the highlight. It is very large and clean. The garden is beautifully landscaped and the on-site support is top-notch. It was a very nice vacation!

Feel-good finca
We spent a wonderful holiday here with 2 families. The finca is perfectly equipped with everything you need. Thanks to the good location, you can get to the various beaches, markets or seaside resorts quite quickly. The guest service by Julia was excellent. We felt very comfortable.

Beautifully and tastefully decorated dream house with complete privacy and absolute tranquility. Very clean! The kitchen is very well equipped and makes you want to cook, and the cozy sofas and the beautiful terrace seating area make you want to stay at the house even in bad weather. Thanks to the latest heating technology, the house was pleasantly warm. Nice pool area. You would like to stay here.
