Great vacation apartment

Super central and well-equipped holiday apartment. We didn't miss anything. Modernly furnished, and enough space for two adults with two children. Very nice and child-friendly landlord. We can recommend the apartment 100%.

The apartment has a very good location. Short distances to the bakery, the city center, and the beach promenade. There is a parking space for this lovely apartment and an elevator. We were personally welcomed by the owner, which we found very nice. The apartment was very pretty and modernly furnished. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back again!

Whoever wants to experience a feel-good vacation with their dog is definitely in the right place in the holiday home. Our Appenzeller lady felt very comfortable and moved back and forth between the living room (on the comfortable dog bed provided), terrace, and garden. There is also plenty of space for her in the bedroom. After long walks, the owner and owners could settle down in the cozy living area in the evening... perfect!

Which sights are there in Grömitz?

Baltic Sea Vacation in an Apartment Between the Pier and the Most Beautiful Beach

Among the most beautiful attractions, in addition to the fine sandy beach, is the Grömitz Pier, which extends nearly 400 meters into the sea. At the end of the pier, you will also find a diving gondola, which for just 10 € takes you 3 meters deep into the sea, where you can inspect the breathtaking underwater landscape and the seabed. However, the seaside resort of Grömitz is not only ideal for a vacation in an affordable apartment directly on the beach but also as a starting point for a cruise across the Baltic Sea. Here, in addition to excursion trips, there are also sunset cruises or pirate trips, which children particularly enjoy. Excursion trips to nearby cities like Boltenhagen or Travemünde and to the Baltic island Fehmarn take place regularly during the peak season.

The Baltic resort of Grömitz also has a very modern marina, which is the venue for various events, such as the Grömitz Week and other harbor festivals and regattas. The former is particularly popular with visitors and invites participation in various sports.

The nearby Cismar Monastery is also an impressive example of Brick Gothic architecture and is surrounded by a moat and earth ramparts. The building is now used as a cultural center for various events and activities – such as art exhibitions by the Schleswig-Holstein State Museum Foundation.

For those interested in culture, the Eutin Castle in Ostholstein, 30 km away, is also exciting to visit. The Baroque castle impresses particularly with its architecture, the imposing interior, and the elaborately designed castle garden.
