The Unterkoeck Apartment is a renovated farmhouse in a secluded location and is situated in Russbach am Pass Gschütt Dachstein West in Salzburger Land, a charming mountain village in the Alps on the border with Upper Austria/Salzkammergut.
The house is 2 km from the village center and from the Hornbahn lift facilities of the Dachstein West Salzkammergut ski and hiking region. Nearby is the bus stop/Schattauhöhe, from which you can use public transportation (bus and S-Bahn) between Gosausee and Salzburg city for free with your guest card.

Russbach, "the Salzburg village," is located away from large tourist streams, nestled between the Dachstein massif and Wolfgangsee, and is a paradise for all bike, hiking, and mountain enthusiasts! Hardly anywhere else in Austria do zest for life, history, culture, culinary arts, and recreational offerings meet so harmonically and in such a uniquely scenic manner. Nature is among our most precious assets, believe it, it’s hardly believable how active it gets during the summer months in our hiking village. Throughout the Tennengau region and the adjacent Salzkammergut, recreational activities for both adults and children are offered without long car rides, of course. This is because mountains, lakes, and attractions are right on your doorstep. Often, we hike through the landscape without turning our gaze to the left or right. Recognizing the beauty of nature is a goal: let's pursue it on our marches across the pastures. Discover and embrace the joy of hiking! Many tours start directly from the village center of Russbach.

We live sustainably, meaning we did not tear down our old house, but renovated it with loving care, breathing new life into the old furniture. Everything was restored or freshly made by the master of the house, a passionate carpenter, through painstaking work. Here you will find comfort, not furniture store chic. If you walk through the vacation apartment with open eyes, you will discover his handwriting everywhere.
