The Holiday home

Detached, in the outskirts of the village, this gem from 1900 is a modern Hide-Away with very good infrastructure on a 600 m² plot. You almost have the privacy of a secluded finca, but without the disadvantages of being alone - such as the question: "Who drives today? Under German construction management with sense and understanding without consideration of the costs with most modern technology and high-quality materials of the roof ridge up to the floor tile reorganized and/or again developed. The main house was built of unplastered Mallorcan stone, with a beautiful contrast of azure aluminium shutters

From the main entrance it goes directly into the lower living room, where the 1st bedroom with a cosy white double bed (140 x 200 cm) adjoins to the left of the entrance door.

From the L-Sofa (sofa bed) of the lower living area and the 4 designer wooden swivel chairs you have a clear view of the 55 inch TV above the Side-Board from a massive pine trunk.

To the left of the sofa you enter a small side hallway from which you enter the 2nd bedroom with double bed (180 x 200 cm) on the ground floor

Vis a vis is the exclusive shower room ("emergency" there is a 5th toilet in the adjacent laundry room) and next to it the staircase directly to the apartment on the upper floor. A side door leads from here into the outdoor area.

Through the large round arch made of natural stone, opposite the main entrance, you enter the large kitchen-living room. Equipped with separate fridge & freezer, microwave, dishwasher and fully automatic coffee maker, all Siemens branded appliances. The 5-flame gas stove has an electric oven with a width of 90 centimetres - so that the family pizza also fits. The kitchen worktop and the central dining table for 10 people are made of high-quality mineral material. The adjoining pantry offers enough storage space for the complete week's shopping and more

From the kitchen you have direct access to the covered terrace with a solid wood dining table and benches for 12 persons and thus to the outside area. The ancient pepper tree at the house with its hanging branches and slightly resinous scent additionally provides a particularly authentic ambience!

On the right side you reach the living room of the upper floor via the "kitchen staircase". Well over 4 meters room height, exposed roof beams, solid, oiled oak parquet, three large windows and a super-comfortable sofa landscape for 8 - 10 people offer an unusual feeling of space! The 65 inch television on the opposite wall leaves nothing to be desired when it comes to film evenings.

The adjoining master bedroom (double bed 180 x 200 cm) has a luxury ensuite tub/shower and access to the upper terrace overlooking the property and the vastness of the landscape of the southeast.

The 40 m² apartment can be reached via the separate staircase or through an intermediate door from the living room. Also with over 4 meters ceiling height, wooden floor, double bed (180 x 200 cm) and L-Sofa (sofa bed) completely equipped, there is a refrigerator, a modern shower ensuite and a flat screen TV (SAT & DVD) as in all other bedrooms

Of course you sleep exclusively on high-quality mattresses (you are on holiday after all) and there is WLAN on the entire property (even if you are on holiday)!

We have deliberately dispensed with air conditioning. Fully insulated walls, roofs, windows and doors in combination with ceiling fans ensure a healthy and pleasantly cool room climate. Of course not, if in midsummer the interior of the house has been totally heated up by constantly open doors and windows!

From the large pool terrace with round outdoor shower made of natural stone you descend three steps into the shady garden area with awning, old palm trees and yucca stock for "chilling". Adjacent to it, on the upper level, is the outdoor kitchen with a large charcoal grill. Here a dozen guests to eat is the easiest exercise (dare something different than at home: Whether Dorade, Calamares or Gambas, fresh fish & seafood from the grill are simply a force). On the stone roundabout around our largest palm you can comfortably sit and control the grilling process

Across the courtyard is our "Honeymoon Suite", the separate Pool Casita. It is on 35 m² with a large four-poster bed (180 x 200 cm), refrigerator, TV/DVD and modern shower-bath ensuite a perfect retreat for two! Completely separated from the main house, you look from the bed directly into the (illuminated) pool. A separate refrigerator provides additional self-sufficiency. "Yes honey, ice-cold cava is still there"... and you don't have to go across the yard to the kitchen in your pyjamas late at night, unless you absolutely want to prepare fresh tapas...

Location and surroundings of object

Es Llombards is an authentic Mallorcan village and not a soulless tourist settlement. Within walking distance you will find 5 restaurants (BBQ, Spanish, Mediterranean, German) and 2 original Spanish cafés/bars, a baker, the weekly market and recently even a small supermarket. As far as evening restaurant visits are concerned, a question which is decisive for the person concerned loses its relevance: Who's driving today? With "Oh, we must soon...", or "Unfortunately no honey, I already had two glasses of Tinto", you don't really have to deal with it, thank heaven. You'll be home in just a few steps! The extremely popular village Santanyi (Lidl - and various Spanish supermarkets, weekly market, gas stations, banks, post office, countless boutiques, bars and restaurants etc.) is only about 4 km away. To the famous Es Trenc, with 6 km the longest sandy beach of the island, it is 14 km. You can reach the nearest sandy beach by car in about 5 minutes. Cala d'Or, the Cuevas del drago, nature reserves, countless beaches and bays - or if you really want to go shopping, you can reach the centre of Palma in 45 minutes - and there is even a bus service. They are everywhere in the middle, but without the tourist hustle and bustle on their own doorstep. Speaking of nearby!

If you have any questions on site or need tips, we are only a few kilometres away. Arrangements regarding the weekly pool maintenance, the watering of the plants, technical questions or even possible problems - we are available for you at any time, are at your side with advice and action!

With a lot of time and even more love we have renovated our house very carefully and with high quality - even some of the furniture is our own design - and we really like to let you participate in it. So that you and your loved ones can spend the most beautiful time of the year here with us not only today, but also in the future, I have a very honest and fundamental request. Speaking of honest!

Of course, a plate or a glass can always fall down accidentally, that happens to everyone, so nobody will cut you a bit of your deposit! Even a bigger damage can happen of course and would not be a problem so far, because ultimately your private liability insurance would be responsible - but not to stand by, or "accidents" possibly to deny is contrary to the principle of trust, which we should show each other for the booking of your holiday!

In contrast to an accidental mishap, I definitely have no sympathy for a notorious "Never mind my attitude" or the ruthless "I can do here what I want mentality". I'm also not sure whether the megalässige "Meine Strassenschuhe gehören auf jeden Tisch- & Sofa-Style" (My street shoes belong on every table & sofa style) currently published everywhere is absolutely necessary for a positive sense of community?

In short, we all don't like any problems at all - especially not on holiday - you don't and I don't! Therefore at this point the following, quite simple request: If you, your family and friends, with whom you intend to spend your holiday with us, do NOT appreciate high values as such, or cannot respect the property of others accordingly, please be so kind as to simply book an OTHER domicile!

Otherwise we welcome you warmly! In this house you will spend a wonderful holiday with a maximum of privacy and comfort and can recharge your batteries. Recreation and relaxation, in a great ambience that leaves nothing to be desired and will surely become part of your most beautiful holiday memories... Just feel at home!

Depending on the number of persons, the corresponding rooms are available to you by arrangement - and even if you book "only for two persons", you always rent EXCLUSIVELY!

Please note that the directly adjacent 4 x 8 meter swimming pool is also to be understood as such and with a water depth of 1.25 - 2.00 meters is definitely not suitable for non-swimmers! Speaking of water!

Our domestic water is treated very laboriously by osmosis, coal and resin bed filters and provided with 3 bar line pressure. Even if the washing machine is running downstairs and someone is taking a shower, there is always enough water pressure on the upper floor. But the most important thing is: drinking water! That's right, we have ALL THE BEST DRINKING WATER in the whole house and the outdoor shower!
