Great house in a wonderful location

HOLIDAY HOUSE
- very well equipped and clean
- a bit cozy for a family with 2 teenagers, but very comfortable
- the size and equipment of the terrace are very nice and the view is magnificent!
- great location in the park, as it is only 150m from the reception and the clean swimming pool; possibility for table tennis or billiards

How is the weather in Tignale?

Climatic conditions at Lake Garda

The climate at Lake Garda is strongly influenced by its proximity to the Alps. Tignale, at 555 meters above sea level, is slightly higher than Lake Garda itself and therefore has slightly cooler temperatures than the towns directly on the shore. The best time to visit your Tignale holiday apartment is between May and September. During these months it is relatively warm and there is little rainfall. In summer, the lake and the pool are great for swimming and water sports. Maximum temperatures in July and August are just below 30°C. In winter, freezing temperatures are practically not reached. Between seven and ten hours of sunshine per day spoil the visitors of the region in summer. In winter, there are between two and five hours of sunshine per day. If you are planning a hiking holiday in Tignale with a private holiday home, you should prefer the months of March and September. It is then less hot, and only five to six rainy days per month are expected.

Explore Castello Scaligero, the grottoes, and the thermal baths of Catullo. The Scaliger Castle is surrounded by a majestic curtain wall and adjoins the harbor basin. Its 13th-century military fortification can still be walked and visited today. Explore the defensive corridors and towers with their mighty walls, drawbridges, and winding staircases. In the thermal baths of Catullo, the hot mineral water coming from the depths was already used for healing purposes around 150 AD. The hot springs are located at the bottom of Lake Garda. The original lead pipes were accidentally discovered and put back into operation at the end of the 19th century. In Gardone Riviera, visit the Vittoriale Museum, a wonderful villa with an open-air theater, mausoleum, and military exhibition.

Rafting and canyoning are offered in the numerous mountain streams around Lake Garda. Don't miss this great thrill! Several times a year, markets are held on various themes.
