Beautiful and pure vacation

We were with 5 children and a dog in the house, perfect for us. We could sit together comfortably, everything we needed was there, and even fresh bread rolls every morning. Absolutely recommendable, especially the excellent service from Guido. You supported us with advice and action.

Very nice apartment for a holiday at Lake Garda.

Very nice apartment with a wonderful rooftop terrace. Everything you need is available and very clean. Also worth mentioning is the pool in the garden, where you can refresh yourself on hot days. Communication with the landlady was uncomplicated, fast, and very friendly. We were surprised with wine and various groceries upon arrival, allowing us to have a delicious dinner without having to go shopping, thank you very much!

Pure relaxation

As already praised by the previous tenants of this holiday apartment, we join in on the many praises. It is a beautiful, hidden, and not easily accessible property that is completely enclosed, good for our dog Gustav finally being a property owner where nobody could enter. The path to the promenade and the private jetty is not even 3 minutes away, through a closed gate, down a few steps, and you are already by the water. Great. Remember to bring shoes for swimming, but that's common at Lake Garda if the stones bother you.
The apartment is equipped with everything you need, and if you still feel like having a barbecue, no problem, just like at home, light the charcoal and put the sausages on the new grill.
The welcome from Guido was very warm, you immediately felt familiar, everything was explained well including free access to the pool paradise and discounted bills at the pizzeria.
Shopping is easy, everything is relatively close by car, reachable within 1 km in the surrounding area.
The amusement park behind the property makes you want to participate, so if you have children, you don't have to walk far. The beach bar 100 meters away is also quite useful, for thirst during the day or in the evenings when you're sitting on the large balcony, saving your radio and always having the best hits with a holiday flair.
Enough reporting, thank you Guido for the wonderful time, your kindness, and the lovely holiday apartment for us. It was our 4th holiday at Lake Garda and the best one yet.

How is the weather in Lazise?

Lake Garda or apartment with pool for (almost) every season

The southern Lake Garda region has a mild climate. Summers are warm and not too hot. Winters are mild with little rain. Snowfall is very rare. The months of April and May are already suitable for renting a holiday apartment or an affordable private house. In spring, it is significantly warmer than in Germany. The Easter weekend is also popular for spending holidays in an apartment with a garden in Lazise. The mild winter contributes to the growth of many different plants that are only known to us from Mediterranean regions (e.g., cypresses or cedars). Olive trees and capers are also typical for the area. The climate also offers excellent conditions for growing wine. Numerous winemakers have settled in the hinterland. A particularly well-known wine comes from Bardolino.

Explore the historic center of Lazise from your holiday apartment or residence. Or: Take a trip and experience the attractions of the surrounding area and Veneto. The Scaliger Castle (Italian: Castello Scaligero) in Malcesine, for example, is an impressive hilltop castle on the eastern shore of Lake Garda. The castle is particularly well-known due to Goethe's description in his Italian Journey. Monte Baldo is a 30-kilometer-long mountain ridge between Lake Garda and the Adige River. Here you can immerse yourself in the beautiful nature of the region. Monte Baldo has no outstanding peak, but some summits (e.g., Altissimo di Nago or Punta Telegrafo) offer breathtaking views of the surroundings. The entire old town of Lazise is surrounded by a mighty and well-preserved defensive wall. It is adorned with swallowtail merlons and has three gates. Directly at the harbor, you will find an old Venetian customs house from the 14th century. This is also used for cultural events. The Romanesque church of San Nicolò from the 12th century is also located at the harbor. It served partly as accommodation and theater. The Scaliger Castle in Malcesine is a hilltop castle in the Italian municipality of the same name on the eastern shore of Lake Garda in the province of Verona. The castle is known for Goethe's description in his Italian Journey and is also worth a visit.

Here you will find well-preserved remains from Roman times, the Middle Ages, the Signoria of Venetian rule, and Napoleon. In the world-famous Arena di Verona, you can experience top-class operas. In many restaurants, you will be served the so-called Lavarello - the whitefish of Lake Garda. However, olive oil, truffles, chestnuts, or cheese are also considered specialties of the region. Wine is grown in numerous wineries in the hills of Veneto - e.g., the internationally known Bardolino Classico. The use of fine spices also has its origins in this area. A maritime republic like Venice was far ahead of its time in trading these products. In Veneto, the typical inns have survived.
