Fully and completely satisfied?

Andrea was very attentive and gave us a lot of great tips. We felt very comfortable. We arrived by public transport. Our stop was 150 meters away. We were quickly everywhere. The paths along the lake were simply wonderful. We would love to come back. Chrissy and Susanne

Beautiful place

We were at Lake Garda for the second time with our Dogo Argentino lady Mia. The holiday home is beautifully located. Nothing is missing. For space reasons, some kitchen appliances are not ideally placed, but that didn't bother us. We were received very warmly. Marco's dad provided us with salad, herbs, and lemons. Absolutely charming :-) The eight turtles living on the property were absolutely calming. We are happy to come back :-)
Maybe Marco's dad has a wish for what we should bring him from Germany next time ;-)

Villa Bruna, Studio Apartment

We felt very comfortable here, the hostess Mrs. Sackmann addressed all our questions and gave us tips for our stay. In particular, the house's own bathing jetty right across the street as well as the beautiful garden with loungers, grill, and seating under olive trees was comfortable. Many places are easily accessible by bus from here.

What do you need to experience in Cassone di Malcesine?

Village idyll and historical walls

Sights within walking distance of your accommodation in Cassione include the source and the Aril River, which is already as wide as a river after a few meters and flows into Lake Garda over a cascade. At the harbor, there is a "Museo del Lago," which is dedicated to the lake's fishing in an exhibition of old photos, fishing equipment, and tools. The town center is characterized by the 15th-century Chiesa II dei SS. Benigno. However, the main attraction is the Scaliger Castle in the main town of Malcesine. The castle is visible from afar. Its origins date back to the 6th century. Over the centuries, it has been expanded and rebuilt. The narrow streets of the historic old town invite you to stroll and linger in one of the numerous cafes and restaurants.

What can you experience in Cassone di Malcesine with children?

The perfect mix of relaxation and outdoor activities

Cassone di Malcesine is one of the quiet corners of Lake Garda. In the surroundings of your holiday accommodation in Cassone di Malcesine, you will find peace, authenticity, and relaxation. Cassone is a former fishing village with a cozy lakeside promenade and a small beach. Another bathing bay is located on the nearby Val di Sogno peninsula. Above the village, the short Aril River springs, which flows into Lake Garda at the village's harbor. Most dog beaches for a holiday with a dog in Cassone are located on the south and west shores of the lake. Popular leisure activities around Cassone include hiking, cycling, surfing, sailing, and kitesurfing. The long-distance hiking trail Bassa Via del Garda passes the village on its way to Castelletto di Brenzone. If you follow the path, you will hike around the lake, through deserted hamlets, lively villages and towns, over mountains and through valleys, always with a view of Lake Garda.

Where can I eat out in Cassone di Malcesine?

Feasting between Veneto, Trentino, and Lombardy

The cuisine of Lake Garda is diverse. Here, Alpine cuisine meets Mediterranean lightness. Culinary traditions from Veneto, Trentino-South Tyrol, and Lombardy come together. A special focus is on fish dishes. If you search and are lucky, you will find sardine di lago, a subspecies of the otherwise saltwater-only sardines. The small, salted animals are deboned and cut. Spaghetti con sardine di lago is simple and delicious. Other fish from the lake are alborelle, carpione (trout), and lavarello (whitefish). Vegetarians should come in winter when truffles are harvested on the slopes of Monte Baldo. Almost all year round, there are tajadele co' i fonghi (tagliatelle with mushrooms) or risotto con porcini (porcini mushrooms). An important side dish for meat, fish, and vegetables is corn polenta. Let's move on to wine. Lake Garda is home to the famous wine-growing region for Lugana (in the south) and Bardolino (in the east of the lake). Typical grape varieties are Trebbiano (white) and Teroldego and Marzemino (red). Excellent sparkling wines come from the western shore of Franciacorta in Lombardy. They are considered insider tips and are usually preferred over Proseccos.
