An eventful holiday

As every year, we look forward to the vacation at Andrea's in Villa Bruna. You have to be lucky to find such a landlord. She is always cheerful, friendly, and helps in every situation, no matter what wishes you have. Andrea takes care of everything with full enthusiasm, whether it's car repairs, olive oil, excursion destinations, and much more. I believe Andrea has a solution for everything. The house is always clean, and I must also thank the nice cleaning staff who support Andrea; they are always friendly and keep everything in order with Andrea. You can feel that they do everything with love. The rooms are well-furnished, and if you need anything extra, you just ask and get it in no time. A big thank you to everyone who makes our vacation so eventful every year; we are happy to come back.

A week at Lake Garda with a dog.

We were at Lake Garda for the first time with our little Havanese mix. The holiday home is simply to be recommended! Everything you need is available, the landlords are wonderful people and very accommodating. We were spoiled by the father with figs and tomatoes from the garden. (Thanks again for that). Marco (the son) speaks excellent German and guided us to the house. The holiday home has an incredibly beautiful view of Lake Garda, the property is fenced, and our dog could move freely. The resident turtles visited us from time to time. If you are good on foot, you can reach the village in about 3 minutes and make purchases at a small shop; a Spar is about 5 minutes away by car. There are also 2 pizzerias and a coffee bar with ice cream in the village. We once ate at the Pizzaria Stella (average, friendly staff).

However, anyone can also prepare whatever they want in the house. All the kitchen appliances needed are available. Even an espresso machine and a coffee maker.

We would book this holiday home again immediately if we were to visit Lake Garda once more. All the best to Marco and your parents, we felt very comfortable and are still excited! LG from Aachen

We felt very comfortable here, the hostess Mrs. Sackmann addressed all our questions and gave us tips for our stay. In particular, the house's own bathing jetty right across the street as well as the beautiful garden with loungers, grill, and seating under olive trees was comfortable. Many places are easily accessible by bus from here.

Who hasn't heard of the beauty of Lake Garda – the region where lemons and oranges bloom between cedars, oleander bushes, and olive trees. The sub-Mediterranean climate brings hot summers with temperatures up to 30 °C and mild winters with little precipitation, despite the proximity to the Alps. The water temperature of Lake Garda rises to about 20 °C in July and August – perfect for a beach holiday in Cassone. Most precipitation falls in May and June.

Let's move on to wine. Lake Garda is home to the famous wine-growing region for Lugana (in the south) and Bardolino (in the east of the lake). Typical grape varieties are Trebbiano (white) and Teroldego and Marzemino (red). Excellent sparkling wines come from the western shore of Franciacorta in Lombardy. They are considered insider tips and are usually preferred over Proseccos.
