Our DETACHED HOLIDAY HOME is ideal for NATURE LOVERS and all those who value views of nature above all else. In our case, the VIEW OF LAKE GARDA, in its full length from north to south, unobstructed! The view of the MONTE BALDO MOUNTAINS in the background and the view of a NATURAL STONE GARDEN right next to the dining table or the sun loungers on the terrace!
And not only when you are STANDING on the terrace, but also while lying down sunbathing!
And even if you want to enjoy the whole panorama from the living room sofa on cooler evenings. Our holiday home is located in the Alto Garda Bresciano Nature Park, surrounded by forests, meadows, mountains, gorges, and waterfalls, in the HOLIDAY BUNGALOW COMPLEX VILLAGIO DI SUNCLASS in Tignale.
It is situated in the upper part of the complex and, at about a 3-minute walk, is close enough to the pool, but still far enough away so that you can enjoy absolute peace and quiet.
The bungalow is surrounded on three sides by SUN TERRACES and is extensively equipped with comfortable garden furniture. We have already raved about the unobstructed views of the lake and mountains. The tranquility is another plus, also because we have no neighbors on the south side and only very few neighboring bungalows all around. In addition, they are far enough away so that you can enjoy a lot of PRIVACY and PEACE. Just let yourself be inspired by the pictures.
The bungalow itself was completely renovated a few years ago by the then owner. Since he himself is an architect, we now enjoy the well-thought-out improvements that the renovations have brought.
BEDROOMS:
2 pleasant bedrooms. One with a double bed 200 x 140 cm. In the other there are two single beds, each 200 x 90 cm.
BATHROOM:
Despite modern technology, the bathroom conveys that southern Lake Garda flair that we love so much. The shower naturally has a fixed partition. KITCHEN:
The kitchen offers everything necessary to satisfy the heart of a hobby chef (I am one myself! ! ) at a high level. So, freezer, large refrigerator, washing machine, oven, ceramic cooktop as well as the small helper machines like fully automatic coffee machine (Delonghi), electric kettle (with temperature selection), milk frother (Jura), Sodastream sparkling water maker, toaster. And of course a dishwasher for afterwards, you are on vacation after all. CLEVER DETAILS:
In connection with the new roofing of the house, the inside of the roof was also suspended and fitted with INSULATION. It quickly becomes clear that this is advantageous in the cooler season, but the insulation also keeps out the summer heat better when needed.
In addition, there are brand new WINDOWS, naturally insulated and, where possible, designed as SLIDING DOORS, so that nature is also very close here.
For cooler days, there is a modern PELLET STOVE. WLAN: Of course, the house has fast WLAN, which you can use free of charge.
Satellite TV with all German channels
Bright, friendly TILES can be found on the terraces as well as in the living/dining area.
We ask for your understanding that we offer our bungalow as a NON-SMOKING house.
Unfortunately, electric cars cannot be charged at the house.
DOGS are very welcome, we have one ourselves. For your four-legged friend we charge a one-time fee of 40 euros. Please bring towels, bed linen, and kitchen towels from home, as they are not included in the rental price.
If you forget something, you can borrow these for an extra charge at the German-speaking administration of the holiday complex.
A large parking lot is located a few meters below the house. From the parking lot, a staircase with approx. 25 steps leads to the bungalow. The final cleaning fee of 75 EUR and the tourist tax of 2.00 EUR/day/person (from 14 years) must be added to the overnight price.
We usually rent by the week, with Sunday as the changeover day.
HOLIDAY COMPLEX TIGNALE SUNCLASS
Our holiday complex offers a heated pool (25 m lane) with a non-swimmer area, baby pool, and slide. In the high season, a lifeguard is on site all day. The pool is in operation, depending on the weather, approximately from mid-May to mid-September. There is also a children's playground, foosball table, chess game, table tennis tables, and a kiosk by the pool, which offers drinks and small snacks during the high season.
The pool area can be reached from the house in about 5 minutes on foot.
The nearest town, Gardola, can be reached in about 20 minutes on foot, or in 3 minutes by car or bicycle.
EXCURSIONS AND SPORTS
Wonderful excursions can be made, among others, to Gargano (12 km), Limone (25 km), or Saló (25 km). Directly from the holiday home, you can set out on various hiking and mountain biking tours.

Location and surroundings of object
Our holiday bungalow is located in the middle of the ALTO GARDA BRESCIANO nature park. It is situated about 600 m above Lake Garda. By car, you can reach the lake in just under 15 minutes. The drive there and back to the house is an experience in itself. Thanks to the views, it never gets boring, and thanks to the well-developed road, it is never a problem, even for those not used to the mountains! At the lake itself, the places of choice for a coffee stroll with a swim in the lake are certainly Gargnano (12 km), Limone (25 km), Saló (25 km), or even Riva (40 km). For pure lake-swimming enthusiasts, we can recommend Tignale Beach (9 km) with several beautiful swimming spots. Tignale Beach also offers its own designated dog beach.
There are also guests who go to Verona for a day trip as a cultural program. That is also only 60 km. Even Venice is possible for a short visit. But the real highlights of this holiday home are certainly in the immediate surroundings.
Whether you love hiking or mountain biking, here you are pretty close to paradise.
All tours are characterized by their proximity to Lake Garda and the associated views, and take place in a Mediterranean mountain setting that can only be found south of the Alps.
You set off directly from the house and can decide whether a 30-minute short trip is enough or if you want to plan a whole day tour. MTB tours also start directly from the house.
Just to name a few: Dosso Piemp, Passo Nota, Tremalzo Pass. . . .
For everyone who wants to try mountain biking, there is a rental in Gardola or also through the park administration. E-bikes are available here too!
If you get in the car for 3-10 minutes, you will reach the starting point for further highlight hiking tours, such as
- beautiful, romantic waterfall tour
- panoramic hiking trail through vineyards and lemon groves approx. 300 meters above Lake Garda and parallel to it, with gigantic views
- Montecastello pilgrimage church
And is there actually something for real relaxation, maybe even after a long tour? Very close by? Yes, and something very rustic. The place is called Gardola, is about 1.5 km away and can be reached in about 20 minutes on foot, or 3 minutes by car or bicycle – always with a view of Lake Garda. In the village there is a supermarket, a butcher, a bakery, for emergencies a pharmacy and a doctor (both German-speaking), a gas station, and several recommendable restaurants and pizzerias. Or you can simply enjoy a cappuccino or a gelato on the beautiful piazza in one of the bars.
Sunclass Tignale, what does that actually mean? The holiday settlement was built in the 1970s. It is privately owned and consists of about 170 individual bungalows. The association of the individual houses is regulated in the form of a German/Dutch club.
The houses are all more or less the same as the original construction type.
The difference between the bungalows today lies in three decisive criteria:
- Degree of renovation: There are some very well renovated bungalows, with points such as floor plan optimization (especially bedrooms), bathroom, windows, insulation, and flooring being particularly noteworthy. - Interior furnishings: Since many landlords also spend a few weeks a year in their bungalow themselves, the quality and style of the interior furnishings is certainly very individual.
- Probably the decisive difference is the LOCATION. Most striking is certainly the view of Lake Garda and the surrounding mountains.
However, the location within the park should not be underestimated either. That is, primarily, how large is the distance to the neighboring bungalows. This is crucial for peace and privacy. But as another aspect, the location determines how quickly you can reach the pool if needed. Differences of between one minute and 20 minutes are possible.

Tourist tax 2.00 euros per night per person over 14 years old. The Tignale Card with many interesting services is included in this. With the Tignale Card you can use the minibus, which goes from all districts to the beach and back to Tignale, free of charge.

All costs such as electricity, gas, and water as well as use of the swimming pool with deck chairs are included in the rental price. Towels and dish towels as well as bed linen are not included. Please bring your own. Bed linen and towels (possibly not in your usual quality) are available at the reception for a fee.
A cot and high chair are also available from the management. Please speak to us directly about this so that a reservation can be made.
You will receive the key to the bungalow at the management/office. Outside the office hours of the management, the key is available via a key box. When departing, please wash the dishes and dispose of the garbage yourself.
If you would like to heat with the easy-to-use pellet stove during the cooler season, you will find a sack of pellets in the leather ottoman next to the stove. Please purchase a replacement so that the guests after you will also find a sack of pellets. You can buy more pellets at the Conad in Gardola.

A dream location on Lake Garda, to which one always wants to return.
What beautiful vacations we have spent here!
We have been coming here with our children for three years now, and every time it feels like coming home. The view over Lake Garda is simply breathtaking, the house is comfortable and tastefully furnished, and the spacious garden with terrace perfectly rounds it all off. Everything contributes to a relaxing vacation. In the surroundings, there is something for everyone: One can take wonderful hikes in nature, relax by the heated pool, or explore the charming places nearby and enjoy excellent dining. Everything is within reach.
The contact with the hosts is also always extremely pleasant. They are truly friendly and warm people who make the stay even more enjoyable.
We hope to return here for many years to come, as for us this is an absolute dream location by Lake Garda.

super accommodation and location - absolutely recommendable
We were a family with a child for a week in this accommodation. Even in advance, we were well informed about arrival, key collection, etc., so there were no questions at all. The holiday home itself is furnished to a high standard with great attention to detail. Even in the kitchen, there was no appliance that we missed. A great coffee machine for good Italian coffee made our hearts soar. In the accommodation, there were detailed descriptions of all the devices as well as any excursions with detailed descriptions.
We can recommend the accommodation in every respect and will definitely return as guests.

Holiday with dog in Tignale
We spent a wonderful and relaxing holiday in the holiday accommodation. The organization with Mrs. Wickbold and Mr. Meyle was friendly and completely uncomplicated. The equipment was perfect and left nothing to be desired. A pellet stove made the colder nights pleasant. During our stay, there were not many holiday guests in the complex, which we found pleasant. We were able to take our walks with the dog in peace. There is also a pool area and reception with bread service, but this only opens around mid-May. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to Tegnale with shopping options and very good restaurants with reasonable prices. The landscape around Tegnale is very beautiful, with views of the lake and lovely hiking opportunities. If you want hustle and bustle, you can simply drive to the lake, about 15 minutes by car. We will definitely come back to Tegnale.

A dream high above the lake...
A cozy apartment with a terrace all around, offering magnificent views: mountains and lake, delightful at any time of day or night. The kitchen leaves nothing to be desired for the cook, even the morning coffee is a pleasure thanks to the excellent fully automatic machine. A lovingly designed folder with a detailed description of excursions in the area is very helpful if you want to be active. Even weeks later, our hearts are full of beautiful memories. The only limitation of my praise applies to people who are unsteady on their feet: the last 9 steps to the house without a railing were a difficult challenge for me. Thankfully, my limitations are not common and I would love to spend time in Tignale again!

Hello, it's us, your landlords. We are Antje Wickbold and Joachim Meyle. Oh yes, and of course Lino, our wild male Schapendoes. It is not so long ago that we bought the cottage you are interested in here. At some point we realised that we are in an intermediate period of time. No longer so full of motivation and drive at work, but not yet in retirement status either So it came about that we also opened up new horizons for our holidays. No more travelling to unknown continents, no more touring thousands of kilometres through Europe in a camper van. And still immerse ourselves in another world, stress-free For us, therefore, there was only the Garda Mountains. Five hours' drive from Munich, relaxed. From Rovereto onwards, the Mediterranean flair begins for us. Then a short right turn to Riva, and from there a few more metres in altitude to Tignale. And we are already very close to paradise, at least our paradise. And then there was the romantic thought of the possibility of creating a second home with the purchase of the holiday property. Not so easy, when you actually already have a dreamlike first home in southern Upper Bavaria, which we, as Bavarians by choice, have grown into over the past 30 years The hurdles were set high: Nature and tranquillity. Mountain views and lake panorama. Green, blue and bright colours as surrounding colours. Deciding in the morning whether you would rather go on a mountain tour, a mountain bike tour or a relaxing day of swimming or bathing at the lake. Everything can be reached within minutes. The best thing is to combine the morning and afternoon programmes. Yes, and very important to really feel home: the cottage itself. Here, too, the requirements are high. A unique location is a prerequisite, the combination of nourishing naturalness on the one hand and wild fantasies of views of mountains and valleys on the other. But also not completely isolated, but within walking distance of civilisation. And we were really lucky that we were able to take over a very well renovated, top-maintained holiday home from our previous owners. It only needed a few changes, a few individual pieces of furniture for example, to create a paradise for us. A second home We would be delighted if you could use this description and the pictures to find out for yourself whether the domicile could also become a kind of "temporary home" for you.
