CASA LINO greets its possible temporary guests, bon giorno!

Our FREE HOLIDAY HOUSE is ideal for the nature lover and all those who appreciate views of nature above all else. In our case, the VIEW OF THE GARDEN LAKE and that in full length from north to south, unobstructed! The view of the MONTE BALDO MOUNTAINS in the background and the view of a NATURAL STONE GARDEN right next to the dining table or the sun loungers on the terrace!
And not only when you are STANDING on the terrace, but also when you are sunbathing! And even when you want to enjoy the whole panorama from the living room sofa on cooler evenings

Our holiday home is located in the Alto Garda Bresciano Nature Park, surrounded by woods, meadows, mountains, gorges and waterfalls, in the VILLAGIO DI SUNCLASS HOLIDAY BUNGALOW RESORT in Tignale.

It is located in the upper part of the complex and is close enough to the pool with a walk of about 3 minutes, but is still far enough away from it so that you can enjoy absolute tranquillity.
The bungalow is surrounded on three sides by SUN terraces and is extensively furnished with comfortable garden furniture.

We have already raved about the unobstructed views of the lake and mountains. The peace and quiet is another plus point, also because we have no neighbouring bungalows on the south side and only a few on all sides. And they are far enough away so that you can enjoy a lot of PRIVACY and SILENCE. Just let the pictures inspire you.
The bungalow itself was completely renovated a few years ago by the former owner. As he is an architect himself, we now enjoy the well thought out improvements that the renovations brought

BEDROOMS:
2 pleasant bedrooms. One with a double bed 200 x 140 cm. The other has two single beds 200 x 90 cm each.

BATHROOM:
Despite modern technology, the bathroom conveys that southern Garda flair that we love so much. The shower has a fixed partition, of course.

KITCHEN:
The kitchen offers everything that is necessary to satisfy the heart of the hobby cook (I am one myself!!) at a high level. A large icebox, oven, ceramic hobs and small appliances such as a coffee machine, kettle and toaster. And of course a dishwasher for afterwards, as you are on holiday. There is also a washing machine in the house.

CLEVER DETAILS:
In connection with the re-roofing, the inside of the roof was also taken down and provided with INSULATION. It quickly becomes obvious that this is an advantage in the cooler seasons, but the insulation also keeps the summer heat out better when needed.

Added to this are the brand new WINDOWS, insulated of course and designed as SLIDING DOORS where possible, so that nature is very close here too


For cooler days, there is a GAS OVEN and an ELECTRIC CHIMNEY

WLAN: Of course, the house has fast WLAN, which you can use free of charge.

SAT-TV with all German channels

Bright and friendly TILES can be found on the terraces and in the living/dining area

We ask for your understanding that we offer our bungalow as a NON-SMOKING house

We are happy to welcome DOGS, we have one ourselves. We charge a one-time fee of 40 euros for your four-legged friend.



Please bring towels, bed linen and kitchen towels from home, they are not included in the rental price

If you forget anything, you can borrow them from the German-speaking administration of the holiday complex for an extra charge.

A large car park is located a few metres below the house. From the car park, a staircase with approx. 25 steps leads to the bungalow.

The final cleaning fee of EUR 75 and the visitor's tax of EUR 1.70/day/person (from 14 years) must be added to the price of the overnight stay.


HOLIDAY COMPLEX TIGNALE SUNCLASS

Our holiday resort offers a heated pool (25 m lane) with non-swimmer area, baby pool and slide. During the high season, a lifeguard is on site all day. The pool is in operation from approximately the beginning/middle of May to the middle/end of September, depending on the weather.
Also by the pool are a children's playground, foosball table, chess game, table tennis tables and a kiosk offering drinks and snacks in high season. There is also children's entertainment during the high season.

The pool area can be reached in about 3 minutes on foot from the house.
The nearest town, Gardola, is about 20 minutes' walk away.


EXCURSIONS AND SPORTS

Wonderful excursions can be made to Gargano (10 km), Limone (25 km) or Saló (25 km), among others.

Directly from the holiday home you can set off on various hiking and mountain bike tours.

Location and surroundings of object

Our holiday bungalow is located in the middle of the ALTO GARDA BRESCIANO nature park. It is located about 600 m above Lake Garda. By car you can reach the lake in about 12 minutes. The drive there and back to the house is an experience in itself. Thanks to the views it never gets boring, thanks to the well-built road never a problem, even for those not used to the mountains!

At the lake itself, the places of choice for a coffee stroll with swimming in the lake are certainly Gargnano (12 km), Limone (25 km), Saló (25 km) or Riva (40 km). For the pure lake bathing purist we can recommend Tignale beach (9 km) with some beautiful bathing spots. Tignale beach also offers its own designated dog beach.

There are also guests who go to Verona as a day trip for the cultural programme. This is also only 60 km away. Even Venice is possible for a short visit.

But the highlights of this holiday home are certainly in the immediate vicinity
Whether you love hiking or mountain biking, here you are pretty close to paradise
All tours are characterised by the proximity to Lake Garda and the associated views and are in a Mediterranean mountain setting, which can only be found south of the Alps

You start walking from the house and can decide whether the 30-minute short trip is enough or you plan a whole day tour. MTB tours also start directly from the house
Just to mention a few names: Dosso Piemp, Passo Nota, Tremalzo Pass....

For those who want to try mountain biking, there is a rental shop in Gardola or through the park administration. E-bikes are also available here!

If you take a 10-minute drive in the car, you will reach the starting point for other highlight hiking tours, such as
- beautiful, romantic waterfall tour
- Panoramic hiking trail through vineyards and lemon groves approx. 300 hm above Lake Garda and parallel to it, with gigantic views
- Montecastello pilgrimage church

And is there actually something to really relax in, maybe even after a long tour? Nearby? Yes, and something very rustic. The village is called Gardola, is about 1.5 km away and can be reached in about 20 minutes on foot, or 3 minutes by car or bicycle - always with a view of Lake Garda. In the village there is a supermarket, a butcher, a bakery, for emergencies a pharmacy and doctor (both German-speaking) a petrol station and several recommendable restaurants and pizzerias. Or you can simply enjoy a cappuccino or a gelati on the beautiful piazza in one of the bars.

Sunclass Tignale, what does that actually mean? The holiday resort was built in the 70s. It is privately owned and consists of about 170 individual bungalows. The individual houses are organised in the form of a German/Dutch association
The houses are all more or less identical in terms of their original construction

The difference between the bungalows today lies in three decisive criteria:
- Degree of renovation: there are some very well renovated bungalows, points such as floor plan optimisation (especially bedrooms), bathroom, windows, insulation and flooring are worth highlighting here.
- Interior design: Since many landlords also spend a few weeks a year in their bungalow themselves, the quality and style of the interior design is certainly very individual.

- Probably the decisive difference is the LOCATION. The most striking is certainly the view of Lake Garda and the surrounding mountains
However, the location within the park should not be underestimated. First and foremost, what is the distance to the neighbouring bungalows? This is crucial for peace and privacy. But as another aspect, the location determines how quickly you can reach the pool if necessary. Differences between one minute and 20 minutes are possible

Cancellation terms:

  • Bis 6 Wochen vor Reiseantritt 1/3 des Mietpreises. Das entspricht der Anzahlung. Unter 6 Wochen ist der gesamte Mietpreis fällig. Bei Stellung eines Nachmieters durch den Mieter (zur selben Zeit, mit den selben Konditionen) entfällt eine Stornogebühr. Wenn das Ferienhaus durch den Vermieter wieder vermietet werden kann (zur selben Zeit, mit den selben Konditionen) wird der bezahlte Mietpreis an den Mieter zurückerstattet, abzüglich einer Bearbeitungsgebühr von 200 Euro. Wir bitten in einem solchen Fall um Ihr Vertrauen, dass dies genau so geschieht. Danke. Wir empfehlen den Abschluss einer Reiserücktrittsversicherung.

Additional information on the rental price:
Tourist tax 1,70 Euro per night per person over 14 years. This includes the Tignale Card with many interesting services. With the Tignale Card you can use the minibus free of charge, which goes from all parts of the village to the beach and from there back to Tignale.
For Tignale Card holders, the guided walks organised by the tourist office (also in German or English) are free of charge. You can find more information on the internet at tignale.de

Further information:
The rental price includes all costs such as electricity, gas and water as well as the use of the swimming pool with deckchairs. Not included are towels, tea towels and bed linen. Please bring your own. Bed linen and towels (possibly not in your usual quality) are available for a fee via the reception

Cots and highchairs are also available from the administration. Please contact us specifically about this so that a reservation can be made

You can get the key to the bungalow at the administration/office. Outside the office hours of the administration, the key is available via a key box.

On departure, please wash the dishes and dispose of the rubbish yourself.

There is always a spare propane bottle in stock. If a bottle is empty, simply replace it.

Hello, it's us, your landlords. We are Antje Wickbold and Joachim Meyle. Oh yes, and of course Lino, our wild male Schapendoes. It is not so long ago that we bought the cottage you are interested in here. At some point we realised that we are in an intermediate period of time. No longer so full of motivation and drive at work, but not yet in retirement status either So it came about that we also opened up new horizons for our holidays. No more travelling to unknown continents, no more touring thousands of kilometres through Europe in a camper van. And still immerse ourselves in another world, stress-free For us, therefore, there was only the Garda Mountains. Five hours' drive from Munich, relaxed. From Rovereto onwards, the Mediterranean flair begins for us. Then a short right turn to Riva, and from there a few more metres in altitude to Tignale. And we are already very close to paradise, at least our paradise. And then there was the romantic thought of the possibility of creating a second home with the purchase of the holiday property. Not so easy, when you actually already have a dreamlike first home in southern Upper Bavaria, which we, as Bavarians by choice, have grown into over the past 30 years The hurdles were set high: Nature and tranquillity. Mountain views and lake panorama. Green, blue and bright colours as surrounding colours. Deciding in the morning whether you would rather go on a mountain tour, a mountain bike tour or a relaxing day of swimming or bathing at the lake. Everything can be reached within minutes. The best thing is to combine the morning and afternoon programmes. Yes, and very important to really feel home: the cottage itself. Here, too, the requirements are high. A unique location is a prerequisite, the combination of nourishing naturalness on the one hand and wild fantasies of views of mountains and valleys on the other. But also not completely isolated, but within walking distance of civilisation. And we were really lucky that we were able to take over a very well renovated, top-maintained holiday home from our previous owners. It only needed a few changes, a few individual pieces of furniture for example, to create a paradise for us. A second home We would be delighted if you could use this description and the pictures to find out for yourself whether the domicile could also become a kind of "temporary home" for you.
