Large, cozy vacation apartment on 2 floors with a large living area, spacious bedrooms, and a new kitchenette. Partially beautifully renovated. Nice atmosphere on a farm with cows as neighbors, a cat at the door, and a mouse in the kitchen. Very nice hosts. Attention: this is not a villa, but one of two vacation apartments in an old farmhouse right next to the cow shed. The photos are partially not up to date or show the wrong apartment. The washing machine listed (at FeWo Direkt) does not exist. Unfortunately, the usual problems in vacation rentals: completely scratched pans, sagging beds, sometimes no hot water or no water pressure. Furnishings partly still have the charm of the 80s. The location is quite remote outside of Eben on a slope behind the highway and difficult to reach without a car. It didn't bother us much. You should know this before booking here.

Overall good with a few points to make.
The kitchen comes with limited stocks like tea, coffee and sugar to name a few. That’s really helpful. The bed is very firm. The settee in the lounge is uncomfortable.
Access is via stone steps and then a steep wooden staircase. We managed okay but not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.
