The days in the house in Augustinusga started well with freshly brewed coffee upon arrival. Very kind.
However, the remaining days were a series of discoveries of things that did not function and, in our opinion, were largely due to poor maintenance. A big disappointment for us after we paid approximately €950 for a house that looked very neat based on the photos.
Here is a summary of the defects or items that were disappointing:
-There was no chair in the 2 upstairs bedrooms
to hang clothes on, the roller blinds/sliding curtains were broken in 1 room, two skylights could not open, laminate from the step to the landing was broken
- laminate landing planks had raised edges and loose adhesive skirting boards, balustrade in the second bedroom wobbled back and forth.
-bathroom: shower wall calcified, shower wall supports completely rusted, toilet roll holder almost falling off the wall, sinks overflowing when used, all joints calcified and sealant moldy or discolored, stains on the ceiling, jacuzzi nozzles dirty yellow, roller blind absent
-kitchen calcified kitchen tap, 2 gas burners (large burner kept cutting out) do not work, the other three are very small for cooking with large pans for 7 people, so few glasses and cutlery that with 7 people you have to use a dishwasher that was not full after every meal, had to turn on, dishwasher drawer would not roll; wheels were missing, eventually I moved 1 wheel from back to front to make it function a bit, plastic cooking utensils were dirty and discolored in the cleaning products cabinet and handles were all loose, bowls were only very large or very
small size, no bread or serrated knife, broken salad cutlery, only 1 cutting board and 1 large knife, many kitchen items dirty in the cupboards, drawers full of crumbs, ice maker does not work, right lamp of extractor hood flashes (removed and placed on the counter)

The well-maintained, very clean house is beautifully situated and really so well equipped that you will find everything you could imagine. The very friendly landlords are always available and caring if you have any questions.The house is conveniently located for getting to the beach or going on excursions by bike or car.The well-maintained park itself also offers many opportunities for leisure activities.

We spent very nice days in the spotlessly clean and cosy holiday home. The landlords are very accommodating and everything was absolutely uncomplicated. Beautiful location, you can walk everywhere quickly. The house and garden are very well kept. The garden (secluded, 2 terraces, meadow) is a little paradise for two-legged and four-legged friends. Everything is available in the house, the beds are great, we slept like bears... We are starting the new year well rested!!!!
