Holiday apartments & homes on the beach in North Rhine-Westphalia North Rhine-Westphalia

We liked it very much in the accommodation, although the heaters took a bit of getting used to (re-storage). Luckily we had super great weather though, so we didn't really need the heating; at least the adults did. We felt very comfortable in everything. The kitchen was great because we could all hang out here in the evenings, so we could always all end the day together.

Wij hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad (9 dagen) in jullie huis in Assinghausen. We were with 11 people and had all the space in this large house. Leuk ook die indeling van slaapkamers op thema's van wereldsteden. Inventaris was prima en voldoende aanwezig. Ook het speelgoed, het leesmateriaal en de WiFi werden erg gewaardeerd. De tuin is wat hellend, maar heeft leuke zitjes (wel oppassen voor vallende appels..) en veel privacy. Kortom, het was heel fijn vertoeven en smaakt naar meer!

Assinghausen zelf is een leuk plaatsje. Heerlijk die buurtsuper zeer dicht bij huis met 's morgens verse broodjes, maar ook een prachtige speeltuin aan de overkant van de weg. De omgeving is erg mooi. Willingen is een aanrader, waar van alles te doen is. Ook de kleinere plaatsen hebben hun eigen aantrekkelijke ambiance. Een bezoek aan de stenen van Bruchhausen was een belevenis. Sauerland heeft ons zeker verrast!

My husband and I just wanted to relax for a week. Since we love the mountains, we decided on Winterberg. Here we had wonderful
And we were able to relax! Wonderful hiking trails start directly from the flat. For example, we hiked from Niedersfeld (NRW) to Willingen (Hesse). The route was wonderful. If you don't want to walk all the way, you can also take the cable car. Apart from hiking, we went water skiing at Hillebachsee, which is right on our doorstep. The people of Niedersfeld are very, very friendly. Our landlords were also super lovely. The flat is beautifully furnished. We felt very comfortable and wanted for nothing. There is a sun lounger and a barbecue on the terrace. Since we got the hot tip that the local butcher has the best grilled meat far and wide, we couldn't resist grilling. Really delicious... Thanks for the tip! Thanks to the dishwasher, no washing up was necessary. Dishwasher tabs were in the flat as well as kitchen paper and basic groceries like sugar, oil, etc. We also used the washing machine before leaving and were able to leave with clean clothes. The rooms are all pleasantly large and super nice! There is an open fireplace, which of course we didn't use when it was 30 degrees outside. My husband enjoyed the evening TV programme in front of the large flat screen and I made myself comfortable in the beautiful bedroom after dark and read a nice summer novel. Anne, the good soul on site, gave us great tips. Actually, we wanted to play tennis again in town and go to the nearby Fort Fun. Unfortunately, we didn't manage to do that. Time went by much too quickly. Instead, we went to Marburg and visited the beautiful old town.
All in all, we had a perfect holiday. Thank you very much. We will definitely be back! Also great with a dog!
