Located directly by the water, our lovingly and cozily furnished holiday home accommodates up to 4 people (5th and 6th person only by arrangement and with a surcharge) in the quiet bungalow park "De Vlietlanden" by the Ijsselmeer.
In the beautiful garden with several seating areas and a jetty with a swimming ladder, you can relax wonderfully. You can dock your own or a boat rented in the park directly at the garden jetty. On the ground floor, there is a spacious living room with a dining area and an open fully equipped fitted kitchen, a bedroom with a comfortable sofa bed and second TV for DVDs, a bathroom with a bathtub, and a separate toilet. Additionally, the sauna with an adjoining relaxation room overlooking the water invites you to unwind.
In the attic, there are two large bedrooms with double beds and a new shower room. In one bedroom, there is a third TV.

In about ten minutes on foot you can reach the Ijsselmeer with its beautifully landscaped recreation area "De Vooroever" consisting of beaches, walking paths, nature areas and a beach café.
The historic town of Medemblik is about two km away and invites you to experience the lively sailing harbour as well as the Napoleonic fort Radboud and to indulge yourself in the numerous restaurants.
The well-developed cycle path network invites you to great tours.

Our house is ideal both for those seeking relaxation, who are looking for peace and comfort, as well as for active vacationers who enjoy cycling, fishing, golfing (golf course directly adjacent to the park) and discovering the interesting, historic cities of North Holland. And of course, our house is perfect for anyone who loves vacationing by the water. A boat can be rented in the park. In the summer, you can swim right from the dock in your own garden or in the nearby Ijsselmeer, just a few minutes away. The wide beaches of the North Sea can be reached in about 30 minutes by car.
Or perhaps a day in the city? In about 45 minutes you can be in the center of Amsterdam, or in 25 minutes in Alkmaar with its famous cheese market.
Bed linen and towels must be brought by the guests themselves.
No arrivals and departures on Sundays and public holidays.

We are excited.
My 87-year-old mother and our Sheltie booked this house for 4 weeks in 2025. So we thought we would go there in advance to take a look. And we were, and still are, totally excited. We have been to Holland a total of 5 times this year. 3 times at the North Sea and 2 times at the IJsselmeer. There were always nice houses, but this house was by far the most beautiful. A great location by the water, the house was fully equipped, nothing was missing. It was important that my mother didn't have to climb stairs. She had everything she needed on the ground floor, and I had everything I needed upstairs. Actually, we didn't want to go home anymore. And now we're very much looking forward to next year. And if my mother stays healthy, we won't go anywhere else. If we are allowed, this will be our second home in Holland. Thank you very much to the Hassel family for this great house.

Super great vacation home
We were three adults and a dog and spent 14 days in the holiday house. This holiday house really has everything you need: dishes, glasses, cutlery, pots for daily cooking and making breakfast. Lidl, Aldi, and co. are nearby. You sit right by the water, can swim, fish, or simply relax. In bad weather, you can use the sauna. The North Sea is 30 minutes away, very beautiful at Callancog. You can use a canoe if you want. Or rent a boat on-site at the boat rental. What we did. Very nice people too. The contact with our landlords was contactless and worked great. Our landlady was open to all questions. All in all, everything worked out wonderfully. We have already booked again for next year. Thank you for the great vacation.

Head off, vacation on
We have been going to this beautiful holiday home for several years. Here it says "Arrive, unpack, feel at home!" Starting from the loving and tasteful furnishings, the extensive amenities (fully equipped kitchen, various garden furniture, paddling boat, washing machine, dryer, ...) to the beautiful garden with a wind-protected terrace and dock, where we enjoyed sitting and looking out at the water, to the wellness oasis in the extension with sauna and comfortable relaxation chairs, the "Vliet 150" leaves no wishes unfulfilled. The Hassel family has truly thought of everything so that you don't have to worry while on vacation.
Detailed information folders, which included all sorts of local insider tips, were prepared for us, alongside a welcome wine that was on the table upon our arrival. This way, you can directly enjoy a tasty drink on the dock while getting an overview of the local conditions and planning excursions in the nearby and further surroundings. Mrs. Hassel is always striving to ensure that all guests feel comfortable and that problems are quickly resolved. You can also tell this in personal conversations. We are returning for the umpteenth time, and she always has a new tip ready on what to discover in the area - restaurants, concerts, exhibitions - so far, everything has been a hit. Unfortunately, the vacation here always goes by much too quickly, but we always return home refreshed and look forward to the next time.

Genius recovery
From the very first moment, we felt comfortable in this beautiful house with a dreamy garden. Everything was clean and very well-maintained. The park is pleasantly quiet, and you can quickly get to the Ijsselmeer and the charming Medemblik. The large wooden terrace by the water with the lounge group was a hit for breakfast in the morning as well as in the afternoon after our outings. Here, you can perfectly relax and unwind. On cooler days, we really enjoyed the sauna with a view of the garden and the super comfortable relaxation chairs. In short, everything was perfect for us in this holiday home, and we would love to come back.
