Great accommodation

A really great vacation apartment furnished with a lot of love for detail. There was basically nothing missing, and the information in the house is also very good. The living/dining area with the open kitchen is not huge but very well thought out and cozy. The kitchen equipment is also very noteworthy here. There was simply nothing missing, or if we noticed anything at all, it was that there could be 2-3 large cutting boards, or we just didn't find them. The upper sleeping area has a good layout, sufficient storage space, and the loft with lounge area is certainly a highlight for children. The beds were good, but personally, I would have preferred a thicker mattress. (I am a box spring sleeper) Terrace, pool, sauna, baths, price/performance absolutely TOP! We would love to come back.

Really exceptional and recommendable

We, four adults, were looking for a secluded holiday home in a beautiful landscape with a bit of comfort to "let our souls dangle". We found a little gem that exceeded our expectations: This wonderful Swedish house, located by fields and forests, leaves nothing to be desired and offers all comforts. The pellet stove spread cozy warmth and an absolute fireplace feeling, the sauna was used diligently, although we did not test the swimming pond due to the outdoor temperatures, it added to the idyll perfectly. What could be more beautiful than having the first coffee in the morning on the wooden terrace overlooking the pond, listening to the birds and watching the squirrels? We were really completely undisturbed! The house can accommodate six guests and has upscale and well-kept furnishings, even a washing machine and dryer can be found in one of the two bathrooms. The beds are great. The kitchen is well-equipped for culinary adventures. Our "guys" were thrilled with the ping pong table in the garage, by the way! During our trips, we were always impressed by how beautiful the landscape of the Rhön region is. Cycling tours seem to be recommended, we saw many well-developed bike paths! The cherry on top was the really nice contact with Mr. Jahn, who is easily reachable, responds in record time – and kindly even sent us something we had forgotten: Many thanks for that and for the good care, Mr. Jahn! We will gladly come back!

Great holiday home for several parties in the quiet village of Dodenau

Just right for us:
quick communication with the landlord,
House on site really big, extensively equipped with dishes, pots, beds, enough seating in the house and on the balcony and terrace. For our occupancy (with 3 generations, 5 couples and their 1 to 3 kids between 0.5 and 6 years) really super!
Table football and billiards in the house, trampoline and swings outside, outdoor swimming pool 400 m away, game reserve (1 km), local grocery store within walking distance, playground 100 m - we had everything important and varied nearby. A great family holiday.
