Brenigs-Hütte/ the natural log house.
An exceptional house awaits you. On the ground floor you have over 140 sqm (incl. terrace), on the ground floor around 110 sqm (incl. balcony) of living space at your disposal.
The furnishings are kept modern and yet adapted to the special construction.
The natural building materials used ensure a pleasant and healthy indoor climate and the mighty trunks are simply breathtaking
It invites you to relax by the fireplace in the open living and dining area.
The energy supply of the house works with geothermal energy. The KNX system ensures maximum living comfort. With the underfloor heating, you are not only able to provide cosy warmth, but also to cool the house when needed.
We offer you special comfort with our furnishings and hope to leave nothing to be desired.
Three spacious bedrooms await you, as well as another room with a sofa bed.
A large bathroom with shower and bathtub and a small bathroom with shower are available.
The dining room table comfortably seats up to eight people.
The large panoramic windows in the dining area and in the gallery on the first floor provide plenty of light and offer an exceptional view that immediately creates a holiday mood. The panorama windows can be closed with roller blinds across the floors.
A fireplace in the open-plan living and dining area creates a cosy ambience with the tree trunks.
The outdoor area offers various seating options and a barbecue is also available for your use.
For minors, there is a play tower, two football goals and a trampoline to play on.
The fully equipped kitchen invites you to delicious cooking adventures.
The equipment also includes a fully automatic coffee machine
There is also a washing machine and a dryer at your disposal.
In the area in front of the kitchen there is a rustic counter with four bar stools.
In addition to a TV in the living room, there is another TV in the master bedroom, which is equipped with a walk-in wardrobe.
The carport offers space for two parking spaces.
Via the dining area you can access the large terrace
In the master bedroom there is also access to the balcony
For wellness enthusiasts, we offer a barrel sauna and an outdoor whirlpool.
A campfire atmosphere can be found at our fireplace in the garden, which can also be used as a natural barbecue with a three-legged swivel
The positive properties of solid wood are transferred to your attitude to life. The natural colour and pleasant scent have a calming effect. Moisture and heat insulating, this building material, like an air conditioner, provides a pleasant indoor climate. Even allergy sufferers can often breathe easier when living between the logs.

Location and surroundings of object
In the south-east of Hesse, a stone's throw away from the state border with Bavaria (Lower Franconia), lies the Kinzig valley with its idyllic countryside. The river that gives it its name, the Kinzig, rises near the community of Sterbfritz, very close to the climatic health resort of Schlüchtern, where Brenig's hut is also located.
Schlüchtern serves many tourists and visitors as an ideal starting point for numerous attractive undertakings
The Kinzig flows through meadows and past numerous towns and cities until it flows into the Main. Before that, the river pays its respects to the Brothers Grimm town of Steinau an der Straße and the historic Barbarossa town of Gelnhausen, among others. After about 80 kilometres, its journey ends in Hanau, the birthplace of the Brothers Grimm
The Kinzig Valley is enclosed by the Hessian Spessart, the Vogelsberg, the so-called Bergwinkel, which encompasses the eastern Hessian region between the Rhön, Spessart and Vogelsberg, and the Rhine-Main region.

Special luxury accommodation
We spent our summer family holiday in Brenig's cottage. The first impression when walking through was immediately, you don't feel like you are in a holiday home but as if you are visiting good friends
This house is furnished with great attention to detail. Nothing is missing, everything has been thought of. The owners are extremely keen to make sure that nothing is missing. Everything is equipped with the latest technology
In summary, we can say: Mega cool house, everything in tip-top condition, a paradise for families with children. We will definitely come back and recommend it to others :-). We have never spent a better week in a holiday home than in Brenig's cottage!

Dream house in idyllic landscape
We spent a wonderful, quiet week in the holiday home over the turn of the year. The holiday home is fully equipped and we wanted for nothing. We tried out all the extras such as the great sauna and the whirlpool in the outdoor area, the large game collection on days with bad weather and the raclette grill on New Year's Eve. The kitchen is luxuriously equipped with two ovens including microwave, dishwasher at a comfortable working height and fully automatic coffee machine. Every hobby chef is happy about the kitchen equipment. The basic equipment of the consumables for bathroom and kitchen surprised us very much, because everything imaginable was available in sufficient quantity. We had a wonderful stay and remember it fondly. We will definitely book again when the pool is ready :) Thank you for the nice contact! Kind regards Jenny Turow

It is a fantastically equipped house with a great view over the hilly landscape of Hesse. It is in a quiet location and is an excellent starting point for hiking and cycling tours. As experienced cottage holidaymakers, we enjoyed the luxury of having all the necessities of everyday life available in the house.
