The approx. 120 sqm holiday home was newly built in 2005/2006 and is suitable for 6-8 people, with 4 bedrooms, a bathroom with shower/WC, a guest bathroom with WC and washbasin, as well as a living room with Sat/TV and a large dining table with an open fitted kitchen.
The bedrooms are each equipped with 2 beds, wardrobe, bedside table with lamp and comfort spring mattresses with zone slatted frame. One bedroom (upper floor) has satellite TV and a game table with 4 chairs. In addition, a utility room, a terrace and two parking spaces at the house await you.

Location and surroundings of object
Boiensdorf is located in the coastal region between the Hanseatic city of Wismar (UNESCO World Heritage), the Schliemann town of Neubukow and the Baltic resort of Rerik. On the narrow sandy beach of the Salzhaff, steep shore sections alternate with lagoon-like shallow water areas. The average water depth is 2.3 m. The extensive shallow marginal areas take up at least half of the lagoon and promise carefree bathing pleasure especially for families with small children. The lagoon is a popular spot for surfers and kiters.
Our holiday home "Max" is located between the Hanseatic city of Wismar and Rerik, on the Baltic Sea Road close to the coast, in a new holiday home area in Boiensdorf.
The Salzhaff has a wide and shallow bathing area where families with small children in particular can play and swim frolicsomely. The lagoon also invites you to go surfing. The rural coastal region is a great place for hiking and cycling. Thanks to favourable transport connections, you can also quickly reach Wismar, Lübeck or Rostock, as well as Kühlungsborn or Bad Doberan

worn out with age
On the day of arrival, the landlord was informed about the dirty state of the house.
The landlord ignored this statement.
So, on the day of arrival, we took care of the necessary cleaning ourselves because we saw no alternative and wanted to spend the holiday vacation somewhat relaxed.
For example, Open food left out was disposed of, dishes we used were pre-cleaned in the dishwasher, and cobwebs and other dirt were removed from the rooms. The couch set is very old, not odor-neutral, and worn out. Smoke detectors were missing in the rooms, and dangling cables without connections were present in the wet areas (bathroom). Dirty carpets were found on the upper floor. The bathroom, specifically the shower, is completely dirty, and this is not dirt from before the last cleaning, but over months, if not years. From our perspective, it is clearly the landlord's responsibility to check whether proper cleaning has been done after each cleaning.
We bought aluminum foil to cover and use for the oven and trays.
In the kitchen cabinets, glasses were stuck (due to dirt). The built-in refrigerator had no front cover. The washing machine was externally not in order, detergent compartment defective. The balcony door was leaky and difficult to close. An apology was not issued. Only a thank you for the criticism. A claim for compensation is rejected by the landlord.

House for relaxation.
We spent 16 days in the holiday home Max with 3 adults, 4 children + 1 dog and we didn't miss anything so far. Except maybe to install insect screens on the windows.
The landlady was very friendly, although we arrived very early, the house was quickly cleaned and handed over to us two hours earlier than planned. Even when we decided at short notice to stay an extra day, it was no problem. The house itself is quiet, although there are other holiday homes around. This allows the children to play on the street without worries.
The only drawback is that shopping has to be done by car, but otherwise, you can relax and feel comfortable here.
We would love to come back.

Great vacation, great location
First of all, I must say that Mr. and Mrs. Dally are really wonderful and kind people. They were always available to us whenever we had questions, whether it was before, during, or after the vacation.
The location of the house is great, you can see and smell the sea, and you feel instantly welcome.
A very clean house greeted us upon arrival, with spacious rooms and truly good layouts. It was really perfect for a large family like ours. With children, this vacation home is a really good holiday home, in a quiet location, with plenty of walking paths and also tranquility.
The Boiensdorfer Meer, which you can reach relatively quickly with a nice walk, is simply wonderful. No trash and the beach is very clean.
An extra special point goes to the fact that the Dally family are dog fans themselves, and we were able to arrive with 4 dogs. I would book again anytime and go on vacation there, I can highly recommend it to everyone.

The house could be a bit better maintained.
Boiensdorf is a small village on the Salzhaff. Very calm and relaxing. Unfortunately, a lot of grass and such has been washed up recently, causing a bad smell. However, the view from the garden was beautiful. We enjoyed a few sunsets.
Bedding and towels were clean but unfortunately old and partially damaged. Shower enclosure difficult to close and shower head rail loose. Toilet seat loose.
Facilities: dishwasher/small Refrigerator (without freezer compartment) and oven available, but only placed and not fixed. Baking sheets and racks were very dirty. The oven also needed a cleaning. Oven knobs got hot, requiring caution not to burn oneself.
Walls with stains, everywhere cobwebs and dust, and staircase railings partially loose.
In rainy weather, the patio door is leaky, and inside on the left side: ant nest. Actually, there are 9 beds available, but only 8 chairs at the dining table and seating outside for only 6 people. Wardrobes upstairs: 3 bedrooms have only 1m closets and no clothes hanger, and in the 2-bedrooms, the door hangs on a drawer. Downstairs, the 2-bedroom only has a shelf. The living area and guest toilet doors scrape on the floor. However, we really enjoyed our holiday as we were glad to find something so last minute and affordable. However, if this accommodation is maintained, it has the potential for more.
