It was now our 2nd stay at the holiday home Sandorn (with its own sauna) at the Kastanienhof. That alone speaks for itself. We (52Y/56Y) traveling with 2 dogs love the park-like garden very much. We also like the small North Sea towns of Husum, Friedrichstadt, Tönning, and of course SPO (along with the surrounding area and the great dog beach!!!), all of which are easily reachable by car or bike. In Wisch itself, one finds peace, meadows, cows, horses, deer, and farms. For couples with a dog who appreciate peace and nature, this is simply an excellent place to unwind. The only downside in hot temperatures under the roof: missing fly screens (caution: mosquito alert), as well as a missing ceiling fan and/or outdoor shutters.

A place to relax for humans and dogs. Idyllic location, very well-kept and well-equipped holiday apartments, very practical as the dogs could run in and out. Highly recommended if you need absolute peace.

Anita, Hamburg, May 2026 We felt very comfortable in the holiday apartment. The tasteful furnishings and plenty of space were good for us even in rather wintry temperatures (the ice saints lived up to their name). We were pleased with a nice welcome with eggs from the farm and a small bouquet of lilacs on the table, and with the alpacas in the pasture behind the house, which are simply beautiful to look at. And about the bread roll service on the weekend, which was offered to us by the owner, the vacation started off relaxing right away. We took long walks, and Husum can be quickly reached by car and is worth a visit.
