The "Grote Koje" welcomes its guests with a large portion of coziness. We felt very comfortable there and would gladly come back. A highlight of this apartment is the direct view of the Kiel Fjord and the entrance of the NOK in Kiel Holtenau.

Every year again with pleasure!

Class holiday apartment in the best location, super clean, top equipment, absolutely nice hosts, beds are freshly made upon arrival, fresh towels provided. We have been coming here for several years in a row and always look forward to the next time. Absolute recommendation, short walk to the village for fresh bread rolls and shopping, as well as short distances to the harbor and the beach.

By chance, a gem found! For professional reasons, I had to go to Kiel and looked for a nice hotel with a balcony and Baltic Sea view by the beach. Found! Very stylishly and chicly furnished in pleasant sand tones - even somewhat maritime. Excellent bed, comfortable armchair, nice wicker chair, small refrigerator, large and pretty wardrobe, suitcase stand, as well as elegant balcony furniture. That the large oaks in front of the beach slightly obstruct the view has the advantage in midsummer that they provide SHADE (it was 35 degrees - but the room, despite being on the roof, was pleasantly cool). The curtains are, by the way, doubled. They darken very well and insulate. There is often mention of breakfast that the rolls are not good. I can't say anything about it, I never have breakfast in hotels (since I am lactose intolerant, I don't want shelf-stable oat milk but fresh lactose-free - I hereby recommend that hoteliers generally only buy lactose-free so that everyone is satisfied - and I need gluten-free bread - which is almost never available in hotels - and high-quality, interesting muesli without sugar - you never get that either). Since these options were not available in the hotel, I did not have breakfast. It looked good and delicious - I could see that from the balcony - you can have breakfast on the terrace! I had dinner in the restaurant connected to the hotel - it was exceptionally tasty, fresh, and appetizing. The fresh fish was well-cooked - just right, thank you - it was delicious and furthermore, everyone there is friendly.
