We had a very relaxing and beautiful time at the Blue House by the lake. Communication with the Gold family was always excellent - friendly, accommodating, and prompt. The house itself provided us with the desired peace and relaxation and is very well-equipped. However, there were some deficiencies upon our arrival caused by previous guests that were unknown to the landlord. It would be desirable that future guests report honestly about such things to maintain the high standard of the house. Despite these small inconveniences, we can recommend the Blue House by the lake and wish the upcoming guests here many relaxing days.

2 weeks with wonderful early summer weather are behind us. The holiday home provides an ideal base for numerous excursions. Within 1 hour you can reach Tanumshede (World Heritage Site - rock carvings), Pilane Sculpture Park (pilane.org - highly recommended), Elk Park in Ed, Haverud Aqueduct, and much more. In addition, the proximity to Uddevalla for all necessary shopping.
The holiday home is in very good condition and offers all necessary furnishings. (If you are a fan of large pillows, you may want to bring your own?).
There are various terraces around the house for every time of day. Directly in front of the house, we were able to observe deer, a fox, and (captured with a wildlife camera) a wild boar, unfortunately, no moose were spotted.
We will definitely come back.

For many years we have been looking for peace and solitude in holiday homes "directly by the lake" in Sweden. So far, we have mostly booked them via the well-known booking platforms on the internet - and were sometimes also (negatively) surprised
This year, however, the beautiful pictures of the blue house convinced us to seek direct communication with the landlord and we were not disappointed in any way.
The personal contact with Fam. Gold was great, every detail was explained in detail in advance. The location of the house with the unique view of the lake is magnificent and the furnishings were designed with a lot of love
You can feel that the most important thing for Maria and Klaus is that their guests feel at home.
Great fishing area and beautiful surroundings.
Despite our stay of only one week, we had a wonderful time - we will definitely be back.
