Villa Narcisi

Our time in the Villa Narcisi clearly went by much too quickly. We felt very comfortable from the very first moment. Erica, the daughter of the landlord, welcomed us warmly and informed us with many valuable tips on excursions, hikes, beaches, caves, restaurants, bakeries, and wine shops while we enjoyed coffee and lemon cake, which Maria (the mother) brought us as a welcome treat. A very, very heartfelt thank you to Erica, simply fantastic! A big thank you to Maria, who spoiled us during the two weeks with homemade cakes and treats from the best bakery in Alghero "Bon Bon." Such warm hospitality is rare, thank you! The Villa Narcisi is located about 2. 5 km from the town of Alghero, idyllically located amidst an olive grove and many fragrant flowers, with a very nice seating area with loungers for reading and relaxing and a small table to comfortably enjoy the beautiful sunsets with a view of Capo Caccia over a glass of wine. The villa is lovingly furnished and very clean and well-maintained. Even Rosalie the "house cat" has visited us several times, discreetly observing us from the little wall and collecting her cuddles.
We had our racing bikes with us and were able to take very nice tours into the countryside, far from traffic. The hikes recommended by Erica were impressive and very beautiful.
Villa Narcisi is the perfect place to unwind, enjoy, and relax, but also a good starting point for many activities or beach visits. The picturesque Alghero is also reachable in just a few minutes by car and with all the many small and narrow streets, the little shops, the many restaurants and bars, it is a must!
We can only recommend Villa Narcisi and the host family, Erica, Maria, and Carlo, and we look forward to the next time. Thank you very much, Erica and family, for the warm hospitality.
