Our house with nice views and good facilities is within walking distance to the sandy bay La Bitta and the broad beach of San Gemiliano - ideal for mountain bikers, families or groups of friends who want to combine with trips in the mountains and on the coast of Ogliastra a beach holiday.
Description of our house Casa Levante
In a quiet location with beautiful views of the panorama of mountains of Ogliastra our house Casa Levante above the picturesque bay of Porto Frailis, in the municipality of Tortolì lies.
Since the house is on a hillside, it is laid out over two floors.
About the driveway with private parking a small staircase leads up to the terrace and the entrance to the ground floor.
The terrace offers a nice place for breakfast and to end the day with a glass of wine.
A terrace table with 6 chairs is as ready as the mobile Weber kettle grill
Behind the front door is the living-dining area with a comfortable sofa and a small lounge table. From the living area by a room divider, to which a modern 48`` televisions, you get into the open kitchen with the dining table for 6 people.
The kitchen is equipped functional with extractor, a dishwasher, a large fridge-freezer, a gas stove with four burners and an electric coffee maker.
In the cupboards are dishes for 12 people and sufficient cooking utensils.
On the living area adjoins a lovely spacious bathroom with brown and white ceramic tiles, which is equipped with shower and bidet.
About a granite stone staircase with grey iron railing leads down into the basement to the sleeping area.
Here are three bedrooms, one of which is furnished with a double bed and two each with two single beds. The furniture of the bedroom, as kept the doors in bright cherry wood finish.
A second full-size bathroom with shower, bidet and sanitary facilities and a washing machine is located in the basent. In the hall below the stairs is a small storage room.
All rooms in the basement, including bathroom are illuminated with bright and welcoming large windows. In both floors the window can be shaded with shutters
The small garden with a lemon tree provides place to relax and for a barbeque. A private parking ground in front of the house depends to our guests
The child-friendly sandy bay of Porto Frailis is easy to reach in five minutes. The long and broad beach of San Gimiliano is also within a short walking distance from the house

During a holiday in Ogliastra, you can go especially on tour. In this region on the east coast of Sardinia come not only beach-goers get their money, but also hikers, and nature and archeology fans.
The town Tortolì, together with capital Lanusei Ogliastra and the largest and most populous town of the region. With its many small shops, bars, restaurants and banks as well as a ferry and charter airport the town has become a popular holiday center. Landmark of the town are the famous Roccie Rosse, the red Prophyrfelsen in the district of Arbatax on the Capo Bellavista. Furthermore worth seeing in Arbatax is a Spanish watchtower that gave its exotic sounding name to the District: the Arabic "Arba at Ashar" means "the fourteenth tower".
Between Tortoli and Arbatax is the lagoon type "Stagno di Tortolì", which is an ideal habitat and an important resting place for many bird species. The restaurant fisheries cooperative can eat delicious fish!
West of Tortolì leads the State Road SS125 in the most beautiful regions of the island. Between the high and panoramic position Location Baunei and Dorgali this road runs through a wild and exciting landscape and offers breathtaking panoramic views. Many footpaths and mountain bike trails lead along the coast in almost without led nature, silent sources and evergreen Macchia Sardinia.
After about 10 km should the junction of the SS125 to Triei, a small 1,500-Einwohnerort below the village of Baunei, do not miss. The small historic center is around the Chiesa di San Cosimo and Damiano, next to the small Amphiteatro. Geheimtip in Triei is known in the region Pizzeria Da Salvatore, which offer the best pizzas Ogliastra location provides an ideal starting point for extensive mountain bike and walking tours in the protected national park "Parco nazionale del Golfo di Orosei e del Gennargentu". The park includes the coast of the Gulf of Orosei to the Supramonte and the Gennargentu massif.
Only a few kilometers from Triei Baunei, lies the small coastal village with marina Santa Maria Navarrese. Besides a beautiful large central park with centuries-old olive trees, an ancient church and a playground, there are also restaurants, bars and a beautiful, green trees and flowering oleanders lined beach promenade. The golden sand beach is sheltered in a small bay overlooking the port of Arbatax and its red porphyry cliffs.
Definitely recommendable is morning trip to the 170 m high cliff Pedra Longa and a day trip by boat in the Gulf of Orosei to the dream beaches of Cala Luna or Cala Goloritze. Anyone with more time, these bays can also hike or schedule a bicycle trip to Pedra Longa. The view is postcard perfect!

Great house!
We stayed here for 2 weeks from the end of July to the beginning of August 22. 2 adults and 3 children and can only recommend the accommodation. The house has a perfect quiet location, so that you are mainly among "locals" and at the same time you can reach the city centre of Tortoli in a few minutes, which was absolutely what we wanted. At dinner you can enjoy the view of the mountains from one of the terraces. The location, about halfway between Cagliari and Olbia airports, is also perfect. You can make excursions accordingly in both directions of the island.
The size of the house, the room layout and the equipment of the house leave nothing to be desired. With 3 bedrooms and still sofa in the kitchen area there were more than enough sleeping places. Everything in crockery , dishwasher, washing machine, air conditioning in all rooms (was a lifesaver for us in the heat), 2 barbecues (including a Weber grill)), all the beach paraphernalia and much more....
House also had own parking, but otherwise parking on the street next to the house was no problem and spaces were always available. The on-site support was excellent, so that all questions as well as small technical problems could be solved quickly on site. The handling of the booking, the communication with landlords and the handover of the house also went completely smoothly!!!
Bottom line: we enjoyed our holiday in this house and would definitely recommend it!!!!

Great house in a wonderful quiet location
This time we were able to spend our 1-week Sardinia motorbike holiday in this really great accommodation. The house offers everything (and more) you need for a pleasant holiday. There were three of us in this house and so we could each move into a large room on the sous-terrain. The fully equipped kitchen offers everything to cook for a larger party ;-) and to sit together in the outdoor area and enjoy the flair.
Upon arrival, we received a very warm welcome and the house, surroundings and everything that goes with it was explained to us. A big praise also for the "Fristerstreckung" at the departure.
We were very enthusiastic about everything and if everything fits, we will certainly knock again to get an appointment.

Great accommodation in a super location
We were completely satisfied with the really well-equipped accommodation, which is a real miracle of space! The location is great, two beautiful beaches within walking distance and many other beautiful bays within a short drive. The landlords and the person on site were super friendly and helpful. The price/performance ratio is unbeatable! A trip here is really worth it ?

TOP house in great location
We spent our holiday this year in Casa Levante and are completely thrilled. The house is modernly furnished and contains everything necessary. The kitchen is very well equipped and leaves nothing to be desired
Since I was there with three teenagers, the available Wi-Fi is not to be underestimated ? The bedrooms are in the basement and therefore a bit cooler. Otherwise, there is also air conditioning. The rooms are of a size where you can move around and stay. The two large bathrooms with showers were great for five people
A very big advantage are the high-quality fly screens in front of every window and also in front of the front door
Casa Levante is very centrally located but still quiet. The very beautiful Porto Frailis bay is only a few minutes' walk away. It takes a little longer to reach the beach of San Gemiliano, but it is also within walking distance
The landlord was very obliging the whole time and had organised everything very well on site. We felt comfortable all around!
The house and the area are definitely worth a holiday!
We will definitely be back!

You will have everything. Relaxation, peace, and dreamy beaches. The house is equipped with everything you need.
