Slope fun is guaranteed in the Zillertal Arena ski area. The alpine village of Königsleiten is located at 1,600 meters altitude and is the largest ski area in the region. The neighboring village of Gerlos is also considered an Eldorado for slope enthusiasts. During the day, you can plunge into pure snow fun, use the high-altitude cross-country ski trail at the mountain station, or indulge in the famous après-ski. Things are a bit more leisurely in Wald, where winter hikes or romantic horse-drawn carriage rides are on the program. Here you will also find a true paradise for cross-country skiers with a connection to the Pinzgau trail network, which extends over 200 kilometers. Experience relaxation and water action at the Kristallbad Wald, which is suitable for young and old. A special highlight is the guided yodel hike with Christian Eder. At the Königsleiten mountain station, you start with a small warm-up training and learn the great art of yodeling along the yodel hiking trail. Particularly beautiful panoramas can be enjoyed on the Zillertal High Road. Tours by bus are also offered for this. For holidaymakers with a holiday home or accommodation, a trip to the Schlegeisspeicher reservoir at around 1,800 meters altitude in a valley near Mayrhofen is also recommended.
