Chalet Auszeit
Zell am Ziller
We really know many holiday homes/apartments, have been going to Tyrol several times a year for several years, but we have not had such a well-equipped holiday home before. Additionally, the great view of Zell am Ziller and Mayrhofen is simply superb. All in all, highly recommended.

Ferienhaus Anton
Zell am Ziller
We, 4 adults and two young children (4 and 1 years old), enjoyed a wonderful summer vacation in vacation home Anton. The house is spacious and it is very nice to sit in the garden where there is plenty of shade on warm and sunny days. The property is centrally located and you can quickly reach Zell am Ziller, Gerlos, Mayrhofen (a cozy town with nice shops) by car. The area is child-friendly, with a nice playground and a beautiful swimming pool in the center of Zell am Ziller. In the Fichtenschloss (mountain station Rosenalm), children can play for hours while discovering the nature of the Zillertal Arena. A visit to the Achensee is also more than worth it. The contact with the landlord went smoothly. We were warmly welcomed upon arrival, and the landlord was easy to reach with questions and responded quickly. We can wholeheartedly recommend holiday home Anton!

House of Nature
Hart im Zillertal
We were absolutely satisfied with 5 people. The house is large and very well laid out. The equipment leaves nothing to be desired; everything is available, from egg cups to butter dishes. The landlord is very friendly and helpful. Ski lifts and shopping opportunities are easily accessible. The location is also great for long walks.

Impressive glaciers, lush alpine meadows and unique forests on holiday - that's the Zillertal Alps Nature Park in Austria. Especially in summer, the nature park is a paradise for a hiking holiday and is a popular excursion destination. With over 200 guided hikes - from wildlife observation to nature photography - there is something for everyone. In addition to experienced mountaineers, the Zillertal Alps Nature Park is also an experience for children. Llama trekking and children's expeditions guarantee fun and variety for the little ones. In the front Zillertal, where the valley is widest, you will find the sunny town of Fügen, the largest community in the valley. In addition to sights such as Fügen Castle and the parish church of Maria Himmelfahrt, you can visit and experience a variety of excursion destinations in Fügen. The hay milk dairy invites you to tours and cheese tastings. If you want to learn more about the topic of wood, you can explore the FeuerWerk HolzErlebnisWelt. The adventure mountain Spieljoch with its many attractions, Alpine Trike Track & Toboggan Run Goglhof are great fun for families. Choose accommodation in Fügen, Mayrhofen-Hippach or Zell am Ziller and enjoy the proximity to untouched nature, which can also be easily explored by e-bike in addition to extensive hikes. Special highlights in summer are also the Krimmler Waterfalls and the Hintertux Glacier.
The federal state of Tyrol impresses not only with breathtaking views and landscapes, but also with hearty and traditional cuisine. The four most popular dishes in Tyrol are pasta, dumplings, dumplings and polenta. The so-called "Marende" (snack) is very important for every local and is served with a wonderful homemade grey cheese. Famous Zillertal meat dumplings, Zillertal pastries, Gugelhupf or the Tyrolean dumplings with bacon are delicious and unmistakable. Not to forget the famous Tyrolean Gröstl, the national dish of Tyrol is prepared with veal or beef, onions, marjoram and potatoes. It can be individually designed and varied. Whether on the alp for a Tyrolean Marend or in a gourmet restaurant for an entrecôte from alpine beef: Tyrol spoils you with exciting creations and secret recipes. Two special culinary highlights can be found in Tux-Hintertux: High up in the mountains is the Junsalm snack station, where the only mountain cheese dairy in the Tuxertal is also located. In the 'Stoankasern' mountain cheese dairy, cheese specialties are freshly made every day. The Metzger-Bräu house brewery is also worth a visit. The famous naturally cloudy Tuxer beer is produced in the brewery. The recipe is of course not revealed, but every visitor is welcome to try the beer. The wonderful Austrian specialties can also be easily enjoyed in your own holiday home, apartment or
The church in Ramsau - also known under the name "Ramsauer Kirchl" - attracts attention from afar. The simple building in the classical style was built in 1841 and consecrated in 1843. The highlight of the Ramsau church is the picture of the "Sorrowful Mother of God", which adorns the wall above the high altar. Since it was renovated in 1997, it has shone in new splendor. The old house of the Strasser farmers in Mayrhofen is nostalgic, steeped in history and full of tradition. For it was here that the Strasser children lived, who made the Christmas carol "Silent Night, Holy Night" famous all over the world with their concerts. When you enter the house, you are transported back to the time 300 years ago. The entire house - inside with the small parlors, outside with smoke-blackened beams and tiny window shutters - gives an insight into the rural life of the farmers and the history of the Strasser children.
Zillertal is located in the west of Austria. Unlike other side valleys in Tyrol, Zillertal does not overcome any valley level and only rises slightly from Strass to Mayrhofen. This allows for a comfortable journey to your holiday home or private apartment in the ski area. Numerous train connections from European cities make for a relaxed and affordable journey to Zillertal. With train or flight travel, the holiday starts at home. From the destination station Jenbach, it's a pleasant journey with the Zillertalbahn or bus to your domicile or holiday apartment. Reliable shuttle services from Innsbruck or Munich airports take guests safely and comfortably to their accommodation in the dream destination. Of course, it is also possible to travel privately by car to your holiday apartment or house in Fügenberg. From Munich, Salzburg or Vienna, you first drive on the A1, A8 and A93 to Kiefersfelden. Then continue on the Inntal motorway to the Zillertal exit. Another option is to travel via the Achenpass on the B181 Achenseestraße to Wiesing. Then you reach the B169 to Mayrhofen.
