Nature pure – perhaps even a bit too much of it. The holiday home is in good condition and very quiet. The owners live on the property, but we hardly noticed them. The biggest problem was the extremely many mosquitoes. The bathing opportunity at the lake, about 300 m away, was unfortunately very unkempt – a lot of reeds, algae, and a somewhat uninviting access. We didn't really want to swim there. It was always a good 20 minutes by car to the beach in Misdroy. A major drawback of the house is the missing fly screens. This made it difficult to ventilate without immediately having mosquitoes in the house. Although fly swatters and mosquito spray were available, we still had 27 °C in the house at 10 PM on some evenings because the windows could hardly be opened. We were there with five adults and two children, with two adults having to sleep on a rather hard sofa bed. Overall, a decent and very quietly located holiday home. With fly screens on the windows and a more well-kept bathing area, our stay would have been significantly more pleasant.
