Top holiday home

This holiday home is top, especially for families. It was very clean and the view of the mountains was very nice. The location was very quiet and very pleasant. The private pool was the highlight because it is clean and the children had fun in the pool every day. There were also top restaurants nearby. We would love to visit it a second time.
Best regards,
Amar

**Dreamy chalet with mountain view – absolute recommendation! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐** We had an all-around fantastic stay at Chalet Gamkobel in Inzell and were completely thrilled! The holiday home is beautiful, excellently equipped, and exceptionally clean. We were particularly impressed by the great pool, the sauna, and the top-notch whirlpool – truly, no wishes are left unfulfilled here! Another highlight is the stunning view of the mountains, which makes the stay something very special. The local manager also deserves great praise: extremely friendly, helpful, and always an excellent contact person. For us, the Chalet Gamkobel is definitely the best chalet we have ever vacationed in. Everything is just right here! **We would love to come back and can recommend this holiday home without reservation!**

A wonderful experience overall, the apartment was spacious, and the kitchen had everything we needed for meals. We particularly enjoyed the sauna after a long day of hiking in the beautiful Chiemgau Alps.

What do you need to experience in Inzell?

In Summer the Alms Call, in Winter the Slopes

Inzell is a destination for all seasons. In the warmer months, the green alpine meadows and rugged mountains beckon for hikes and bike rides during your vacation. Enjoy the view down into the valley and up to the peaks. In winter, the action continues unabated. The descent during snow tubing on the toboggan run becomes even more thrilling. The lake transforms into a skating paradise. On snowshoes and touring skis, you can experience the landscape bathed in brilliant white. From the Kesselalm and the sunny slope at the Pommern lift, snowboard and downhill slopes lead back to the village. In the Chiemgau, other ski areas beckon with more than 40 kilometers of slopes. The most famous are Steinplatte, Winklmoosalm – Waidring, and Reit im Winkl. The Max Aicher Arena in Inzell is the Bavarian state performance center for speed skating. Regular sporting events such as speed skating and ice hockey take place here, which you are welcome to attend. If you want to be active yourself, you can participate in public ice skating from September to March daily from 2 to 4 PM. (As of November 2023)

Where can I eat out in Inzell?

Dampfnudelblues – Hearty and Traditional

Bavarian cuisine is hearty and robust. Numerous meat and roast dishes, dumpling dishes, and flour-based desserts characterize everyday cooking in Bavaria. A traditional flour-based dessert is the Dampfnudel. The yeast dough is simultaneously fried and steamed in a coated pot. The forests provide tasty game and mushrooms, and from the lakes and crystal-clear rivers come numerous freshwater fish. For a small meal in between, ask for the Brotzeitkarte. Hearty mountain cheese, ham, and sausages with fresh farmer's bread often suffice as a full meal. A snack with a mountain view - what more could you want?
