Spontaneous vacation

We spontaneously looked for a good accommodation and found it here. The contact was uncomplicated and smooth, which was good since we booked only 3 days before arrival. The house has everything one could wish for. The quiet yet central location for excursions is perfect for us. There is nothing to complain about from our side. Even for our electric car, there was a charging option at very good conditions. Overall, a successful vacation.

Very beautiful holiday home

The holiday home is located very quietly away from the tourist hustle and bustle. Nevertheless, the beaches and seaside resorts are quickly accessible via short paths. The accommodation is clean, modern, and very high-quality furnished. We lacked nothing. The large fenced garden is ideal for a vacation with a dog. We would love to spend our vacation here again.

FH Seeschwalbe

We spent 2 wonderful weeks on the Darß and in the FH Seeschwalbe. As soon as you enter the FH, the vacation begins. It is a bright, friendly, and modernly furnished house. Nothing is lacking, and relaxation is guaranteed. On the terrace, you can enjoy the tranquility, and when the weather wasn't so nice, we enjoyed the indoor sauna. The contact with the Hollweg family was always nice and accommodating, and personal attention is still valued. We will definitely come back? .

Which sights are there in Fuhlendorf?

Attractions Near Fuhlendorf

The Fischland-Darß-Zingst region is characterized by seafaring, fishing, and the later development of spa tourism. Many of the beautiful attractions on the peninsula are related to this history. Visit the Baltic Sea resorts Ahrenshoop and Wustrow to admire the wonderful architecture. The beautiful captains' houses, found in almost every town, are impressive. On excursions around your holiday home, discover the most beautiful spots in the Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft National Park. Visit the Marlow Bird Park near Ribnitz-Damgarten or watch the migration of cranes in autumn. Between Ahrenshoop and Wustrow, on the High Shore, there is a viewing platform from which you can see far across the land and the Bodden. At Prerow beach, there is a long pier extending far into the Baltic Sea. In Zingst, the neo-Gothic Peter-Pauls Church, the harbor, and the Zingsthof are interesting.

What do you need to experience in Fuhlendorf?

Highlights for Your Vacation in Fuhlendorf

From your holiday home, be sure to visit St. Ewald's Church in Bodstedt. This historic church dates back to the 15th century and was a former pilgrimage chapel. From the medieval furnishings, wonderful wall paintings and a nine-sided baptismal font made of granite are preserved. Darßer Ort is a popular excursion destination. It is the northernmost tip of the Darß peninsula and houses a historic lighthouse. The hike to the viewpoint is a beautiful experience that you should not miss. Gut Darß in Born offers many attractions such as natural mini-golf, children's festivals, and the popular ice stock sport. In the climbing forest, you can test how far courage and strength can take you. Climbers are of course well secured and instructed. Animal lovers will like the small petting zoo with goats and sheep. There is also a playground for the youngest visitors. Colorful folk festivals take place annually in northern Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. A great event is the Zeesenboat regatta, where the cumbersome fishing boats race against each other. Traditional events such as barrel knocking and carnival customs are celebrated. There are harbor, pier, folklore, and children's festivals. Check the event schedules or seek advice in the tourist information centers on which events are taking place during your vacation time.
